2)No, the idea was most likely not the terrorists that actually did it. Most likely it came from the Kamikaze pilots, but that does not mean that they are the cause of 9/11. I think that 9/11 would have happened anyway, even if the Kamikaze pilots didn't exist.
I've never heard of Machine Girl. I did watch that clip though. Not my kind of movie. The last live action movie I saw from Japan was the Death Note trillogy. Very good as far as Japanese live action goes, and most Japanese live action sucks. Such as Absolute Boyfriend. If there was anything more annoying....
