Mohler you clearly have not read the Bible if you believe we cannot judge. The Lord has commanded us to judge. Here are some Scriptural verses.

Psalm 37:30 The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.

John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

As we are righteous people who follow the Bible 100%, we are secured of our place in Heaven and also secure in our judgements. God is on our side.

As I saw, mohler was simply asking questions. To get a better understanding. And as I recall, when people asked Jesus questions, he not only responded kindly, and wisely, but he took no offense to being asked questions.

Please do not attack me Talitha, as I did not attack you. I did not pick bits and pieces out of the Bible or take it out of context. I merely know what I read and I know what I know from my relationship with God and Jesus Christ. I have never physically or psychologically attacked you, so I would appreciate a mature, Christian-oriented discussion on the matter. Do you not see how a response like what you just gave me would deter the unbelievers from ever accepting Jesus into their life. Is that not our ultimate goal on this Earth? While it is great that we live our life doing our best to obey God's word, even greater treasures await us in Heaven if we also are great witnesses to His word.

I challenge you to specify in the Bible where it does not tell us to always be good witnesses to Christ. Ask yourself, what is the best way to do this? Is it by attacking the very ones who need guidance the most, or is it the best way through UNDERSTANDING where they are coming from and then offering a Christian perspective. I have found, in my experiences at least, the best way to convert those to Christianity is not by knocking them over the head with it, but taking time and gradually introduce them to Christ and the glory He brings us. Please understand, we all sin, and we should not look upon those that are unsaved as spawns of Satan, which they are not. But as creations of God, which they are. We should also treat them with respect, compassion, and empathy. If we do not, how can we expect them to believe the word of God? Please, pray to God and ask yourself this.

Why do you only pick out the bits of The Bible that make you feel better?
The Bible has to be read as a whole, not just taken out of context.
I suggest you read through the only REAL Bible (King James) and then come back here and tell us we are wrong.

I challenge you to specify in the Bible where it does not tell us to always be good witnesses to Christ. Ask yourself, what is the best way to do this? Is it by attacking the very ones who need guidance the most, or is it the best way through UNDERSTANDING where they are coming from and then offering a Christian perspective. I am a Christian and have been saved since I was 15. I firmly believe there is no compromise with the word of God. However, that being said we all have to remember the times we live in. While those videos sure are disturbing, to make a generalization about video games is also disturbing. While Christians should never adapt God's teachings, they DO need to adapt to the times. I play video games as my form of entertainment, however I do NOT place it over God, family, or my friends. As technology has progressed, and continues to progress, there will be those to see it as Satan's influence. I see it as the product of people, God's creation. Let's not forget where we are coming from here. Let's also not forget, that while we are on a Christian forum, even in private we must be witnesses to God and his word. To say that non-Christians are not welcome here, as I have seen posted in other threads, sounds of elitism and would only benefit Satan. Why do I say this? Christianity is not a private society where a select few can join, anyone can come to know the love of Christ, and to act like a bunch of hooligans to anyone with a differing opinion only serves to defeat our purpose on this Earth. Which is, ultimately, to be witnesses to Christ. Let's not listen to Satan ourselves, and fight back at people who wish to fight with us. It is only Satan's provocation and to fight back is to give in to Satan.

Nicely said. It's nice to know that there is someone with common sense on this board. (No offense to those who actually do, but from the little bit that I've seen, not everyone is exactly "connecting the dots upstairs" metaphorically speaking.)
