I will keep this short and open to debate, is corporal punishment an acceptable means of disciplining your children?
There have been many protests against it but it does teach kids a quick lesson and makes them think twice before misbehaving again.
For example, last year I took my 5 year old son to the builders yard while I bought some stuff for my new garage. He was running amok and kept jumping in the sand and getting it everywhere. I asked him to stop but the next day when we returned to buy more supplies he continued this behaviour so I grabbed him by the hair and forced his face into the sand and rubbed it into his eyes, then pulled my belt off and hit him as hard as I could across the back and legs as he lay face down in the sand. It worked! Now when we go there he always behaves and is like a model child.
I felt a little guilty afterwards however I knew deep down that God could see I was doing it for the best and would forgive me.
