    Dungeons & Dragons?

Hello, I'm having a hard time understanding this stuff, maybe you all know a bit more about this than I do.

Recently, one of my sons (he's 17 years old), who's always been quite a nerd (he loves computers and video games, and, to my disappointment, hates sports), recently purchased a set of books for this game called Dungeons & Dragons.

Now, I'm always careful about what my sons watch on television, see on the Internet, and play on video game consoles. Unfortunately, I really didn't think much of those books...

So he invited some of his friends over a few days ago to play this game. They seemed to have a lot of fun with it, so the next day, I read through one of the instruction books.

To my disbelief and horror, they contained numerous evil, even satanic, references. There's over 100 pages of one of the books dedicated to explaining how the "magic system" works, complete with magic "spells" to summon evil demons, spirits, and horrific creatures. There were even detailed "rituals" that can summon evil spirits!

What should I do? I've seen numerous posts on this forum relating to satanism, but am I too late to save my son?

According to this, your son is going to be a homer:
Dungeons and Dragons turns men into homers
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

It's a shame that lacks anything to do with someones orientation, it just means the girls he knew didn't want to play it.

You might consider attending an actual Christian church instead of the false one you attend now. What kind of a father sits by and allows his children to get mixed up with satan's favorite board game?

Jack Chick has an excellent tract on D&D HERE. You might want to take a look.

Why have you come here? This is a Christian forum. Did your master satan send you to spread these lies?

John 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

You could be a queer and be lying about it. They do that all the time, because they're ashamed of their perverted sin.

Or alternatively, you could be on your way to becoming a queer. These things take time. From what I hear.

                  Re: Dungeons & Dragons?

Back in the 1980's I led a nationwide protest against Dungeons and Dragons, so I am all too familiar with the multitude of teenagers driven to insanity and Satanism over it. Our organization managed to collect over 2,000 D&D gamebooks and burn it in a public bonfire. Naturally, the media swarmed to it like vultures over a carcass. Even if their presentations were a bit skewed at us, it got us attention and raised awareness for parents whose children were being led into the dangerous Dungeons and Dragons cult.

This is why when I first saw the Elder Scrolls Oblivion game, I was alarmed. Here was Dungeons and Dragons -- brought to life on screen! It made the occult more real to the player.

I can tell you I have firsthand reports from parents that lost their kids to Dungeons and Dragons. Some of the memorable ones that stick around even after 25 years...
                  • 15 year old avid D&D player hung himself in the garage.
                  • Two 17 year old D&D players ran away from home and embraced Satanism.
                  • 14 year old girl became obsessed with the game and rebelled against her Christian parents by becoming a Wiccan. She later was arrested for trying to burn down the house while her parents slept.
                  • 39 year old man (not just kids!) was found to be a child molestor. Concerned parents were worried about their teenage sons hanging out with this man. He had no prior criminal history so its safe to assume that playing D&D turned him into a molestor.
There are countless other stories but you can see my point. This is truly a dangerous game and has wrecked innumerable lives.

Well at least you've got the God-given sense to hate sodomites as God commands! Do you rebuke the ones you meet up with at the D&D covens? Because I know they're full of queers, freind!

Still, why gamble with your immortal soul that way? Why invite satan into your colon?
