It all depends on the state laws. My dad made me start wearing one once i stared middle school and i continued to wear it up in till my last birthday because I turned 16 and according to Michigan state laws I am at the legal age of consent. If he has continued to force me to wear a chastity belt after I turned 16 it could have caused a lot of legal trouble.(My gym teacher saw it and reported it to the school district and police.) He also only made me wear it when I would be away from home for more then a couple hours without a parent or trusted adult. He would let me take it off when i was home because it didn't fit quite right and would hurt after a couple hours.

My father is usually at work over the day and he leaves all decisions about parenting in my mothers good hands.
My belt is not rusty at all, it is made of stainless steel and is padded with some kind of neoprene to make it at least a bit comfortable.
It is not only designed to keep me a virgin, but as well to keep my fingers away from "down there" at night.
