Homosexuality is a sin. God is very clear about that in His Holy Bible: Romans 1:26-27 "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet."

But people can be cured from that. Several people in our church are cured homosexuals! We care about them because we care about everyone with True Christian tough love and we want to save their souls from eternal damnation. And God does not even allow us to ignore this. We have to act: Leviticus 19:15 "In righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour." John 7:24 "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment."

All decent, good laws are based on the Bible, because GOD knows what's good for society. GOD says homosexuality is bad, therefore it should not be legal. End of debate.

It's pointless to argue about whether homosexuality is wrong in God's eyes. But could someone please tell me why it should be illegal? Our great country, from the beginning, has believed in separation of church and state. No matter what any religion thinks, people have certain inalienable rights that should not ever be taken away. Just because one group doesn't like them, why should they be able to control them? And what if another perfectly valid religion was okay with homosexuality? Should Christianity be given priority over that religion? No matter what you believe, in America, your beliefs should not be forced on someone else.

I think some might say your churches will be forced to marry homosexuals. This is completely untrue. You can deny a marriage to anyone you want. If a church is accepting of homosexuality, they will be able to marry them, and the couple will have the same rights as everyone else.

Overall, people should not be denied basic rights just because it is a sin in one group's eyes.

The Declaration of Independence also says that human rights come from our Creator.

What He giveth, He may also take away. His Book tells us when rights like life and liberty should be taken away. Commission of sodomitious acts is but one reason. Others include adultery, fornication, praying to other gods, and working on the Sabbath (even if you're not a Christian).
