What are you thinking? I suppose it's ok for you to inflict your religiousness on your son.. You will be damned to jail. I work for the United States Government, and in what capacity is none of your business. As was stated before, "I will report this site to Google". To which someone said, "what can they do they don't run the internet." Have you heard about Mr. Obama's "Kill Switch"? It does not have to be directed at the entire internet nor does it have to be approved by the Commander in order to be implemented if directed at a single site that advocated child abuse or pornography. It seems there may be more laws in place here than just God's laws. Child abuse is a very serious matter. Human mutilation, child abuse by forcing your son / daughter to wear a chasity belt also a crime. Just as you can not get on the internet and have discussion forums about sexual abuse and think that big brother is not watching. All of this information shall be forwarded to the proper authorities. And as for "Brother Alex". You will be made comfortable during your stay. And as for the grumpy old man. Your claims of beating your children will be aggressively perused.

Yes I realized that, I surely don't want him to look like a homer while urinating. Plus, as I've said before in this thread, the village butcher got arrested for some unknown reasons so I've had to come up with a different solution. I got my boy an electric chastity belt and it works like a charm. He hasn't even tried to touch his tallywacker ever since.

Well, in fact, yes, that was what He did. For example:

Exodus 9:15-16:
or now I will stretch out my hand, that I may smite thee and thy people with pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the earth.
And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

Exodus 14:4:
And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the LORD. And they did so.

God repeatedly hardened Pharaoh's heart. Why did He do that? To have a reason to punish the Egyptians, to "show His Power" and "make His Name declared," in other words, to make people respect Him. So yes, God did go around smiting people so they would believe in Him.

In fact, God even brings hardships over the righteous, to try them, and make them strong in their Faith:

Psalm 11:5:
The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

So you see, beating your child is perfectly reasonable, as God educates us as well by beating us at times. Why do yo think we call God our Heavenly "Father?"

1. Is it ever necessary to beat a child? This is considered abuse and children can be removed from your homes for it.
2. If you beat a child or anyone for that matter the only reason they will listen to you is because they are scared and don't want to be beaten again. Not because they respect you for beating them. Trust me I would know.

As a "Christian" I am sure you are familiar with the following scripture

Exodus 21:15 And he that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death.

Joshua 7:24-25 And Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver, and the garment, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and his oxen, and his asses, and his sheep, and his tent, and all that he had:and they brought them unto the valley of Achor. And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? the LORD shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones.
In this one the kids didn't even do anything wrong. It was their dad that got them killed.

2 Kings 2:23-24 And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

Proverbs 23:13-14 Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.

I don't know about you, but it seems pretty clear to me.

Spanking and disciplining children is not illegal. Sorry Joey. You still have to do what your parents say.

This is illegal. You can't preform unessential on a unwilling person.

There are times when it is required.

I can think of at least one persons parent who, on retrospect, regrets not being castrated.
