Express what you see!
You are what you are! if you're an artist then do what you're heart tell you to do.
Never ever give that up!
God will never make you stop creating art!

Good artists isn't enough. There's many good artists out there, my husband is one of them, you need to be great to actually make a living at it.

Why don't I hear anything about your church in your introduction? Where is Jesus in your life? Why aren't you busy perfecting your pie crusts, and popping out sons for your husband?

Maybe because this isn't my introduction, which I did in the Introduction section. As I said there, I don't go to church, Jesus is nowhere in my life. I also can't bake pie, nor am I married. Obviously it wasn't God who gave you the talent. It was Satan, trying to keep you away from your womanly role and turn you into a lesbian. You need to guard against the temptations of art and the art community to get you to move to California and start worshipping Satan. You know how much God hates France? He hates French artists most of all! By being an artist you say you are better than God, because God is the only creator!

Ok, a few points:

Art is merely the expression of the world through the mind. If God created both the world and the intelect of men, I think art glorifies God more than anything else.

I am not American, so I won't move to CA. I am also not French, I am Portuguese.

You're right about the verb thing. As I already said in my introduction, english is not my mother language so I still have some flaws. I was also really sleepy by the time I wrote that And yes, I asked a question, but I want a solid answer. I have been given several opinions so far, that's why I want to explore every point of view before coming to a conclusion.

you are absolutely right a hobby is a wonderful thing to have and do after you address tasks of daily living. once a hobby takes over it becomes an obsession, and joey I bet you are very familiar with obsessive behavior. Any other mental illnesses you suffer from?

I did not say that. I said that a hobby is a wonderful thing as long as it doesn't interfere with your everyday life, then it becomes obsession. Also you inferred in the beginning of this thread that God did not acknowledge your art because you are a woman. I would say Brother Billy Bob was speaking of a person who who placed their art above all else is guided by Satan and his comment about the French, well that is a known fact as they are all Catholics and they are abominations.

People from my country are almost all catholics as well. I guess most europeans are. I am an atheist myself, although I'm trying to change my ways.
