Re: Thank you Rev. Jim Osborne for the cute Pediabear underwear!

@self_aware_sinner First you ask me horrible questions and then when I answer you say that was for "putting all the insinuations to 'rest'". And then you just go on an on insulting Rev. Jim Osborne who never did anything wrong and talking about some bear who is not Pediabear. You even posted a picture of a false Bible!
Can you please stop doing all that and start talking about my Pediabear underwear?

@Lisa H That sas is not nice to Rev. Jim Osborne, who has done nothing wrong, does indeed upset me a little.

I do not see why everyone is getting in a big hoopla over this. Rev. Jim Osborne is a kind and compassionate PASTOR who gave a very thoughtful gift to one of the young True Christian™ women. As we all know Rev. Jim Osborne is not like one of those Catholic 'priests' who decide to entice their young congregation into deviancy with gifts and promises of eternal salvation. Clearly this gift was well received by Felicity (hence the creation of the forum thanking Rev. Jim Osborne), and no one who matters has had a problem with it.

Well I've stated it before and I'll state it again. It's only the unsaved trash that have issues with the underwear, these are the same people who think it's okay for gays to marry and support all sorts of disgusting, evil things like masturbation. This one is even trying to convert our young girls to the pedophile catholic church

Re: Thank you Rev. Jim Osborne for the cute Pediabear underwear!

You are trying to divert the topic, some of you at least. That is a very immature thing, considering a sexual predator may be lose among your children, who you are called to love as you are your neighbour. I say this as a Truest Christian(tm) so you better listen.

            Ephesians 6
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
            2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

            Matthew 10
37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

So the real question is, when children obey their parents, are they really obeying Christ? If you love ungodly parents more than Christ, what will happen to the child then? It is obvious, damnation.

So, since everyone her wants to be biblically correct, what the children need to do is rebel against the parents and follow Christ, in the case they are ungodly.

This from a Truest Christian(tm), so all your arguments to the contrary are nothing but thin air and soap bubbles on the wind.

            God bless,

I think you have taken those Bible verse out of context. It is saying the children should love & honor their parents. The same with with the parents, ensure that the children love & honor the parents. In reference to the Lord, you cannot love anyone more than the Lord, no matter who they are. It is like a hierarchy. Child -> Parent -> God.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth
Proverbs 19:25 Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.
Ezekiel 16:14 And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.
Proverbs 6:25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.
Genesis 24:16 And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.
Song of Solomon 1:15 Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves' eyes.

You are absolutely correct Lisa, also Matthew 10 is not referring to children.

But he's using a bastard version of the Bible anyway and his heart is hardened beyond hearing any of us. I'm really not sure why he's hanging around here.

Could you explain this in a bit more detail, or perhaps clarify it in another manner? It seems to me both sentences are saying that children should respect their parents, so what exactly are you saying?

Ok. Like I said it is a hierarchy, with God at top

                    God
                    ^
                    Parent
                    ^
                    Child

I thought it was pretty clear. Both the child & parents have different roles.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth
Proverbs 19:25 Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.
