The misspelling you see on the childrens bible is actually "danish" - a language that is used in the country of Denmark.
God hates Denmark, as you know, and I therefor was of the believe that the language was evil, and not harmless as you say.

That book looks so sisified.

My old book of stories had Jesus on the front telling stories to children, and it didn't wince on the tough stuff. I still remember being worried about how far I could push making fun of someone before the bears would come, and the picture of Abraham holding a knife over his son was quite graphic.
