I came here expecting a good laugh. Someone making connections between something so sweet, innocent and wholesome as Moomin and the supposed adversary of all that is good, Satan.

How absurd!

I had my laugh but as i scrolled down I saw comment after comment, without question or inquiry, praising the original post as true.

I kept on reading, feeling more and more unsettled by what i saw. It wasn't about Moomin anymore.


I saw a rampant display of pride, hatred and bigotry. I saw people who clearly believe in hell, without remorse or sorrow, shrug off the supposed condemnation of someones soul, for all eternity, as if it's nothing.

This is further exposed by placing the tag "Unsaved trash" (or worse) on people that do not follow your beliefs. The worst thing is that some of you speak with certain smugness, you know that you are right about what you say, the sinner is wrong - and you seem to take joy from this. Why? How can someone take joy in knowing that another human being will spend eternity burning in hellfire?
Are you even aware that this is how you come across?


Hate breeds hate. You can see this clearly throughout this thread. Outsiders of your faith come and see as you mock (not willfully, i'm sure) their beloved childhood stories and react with anger; in return you react with anger.

Doesn't Jesus teach love? So then, should you not retort with love? Maybe then people will open up to you and your religion and perhaps their souls be saved...

If anyone has a response to this, please answer me in your own words instead of sending me to a page with quotes from the bible (or at least copy/paste if you really think that you have to), thank you!

Boy, we don't accept most of so-called "scientific methods". Man makes mistakes, GOD does not. Age of earth can be proven by Scriptures. Please refer to the science section of the forum. You will find the proof there.

How can you think that the Moomins are some kind of demons?
They're characters for children for gods sake!

They are characters to lure innocent towards Satan. They weren't even children characters first. First Moomin was drawn to the wall of toilet and Tove herself described it as most ugly character she could think.

Of course she later removed the devils tail when she wanted to lure children, but the Moomin characters appear on they more devilish form in the political cartoons of Tove.
