Nobody is born with dyslexia, dear. My own children are more than usually bright, but I have yet to give birth to one who could read and write. This is something they learn to do, under my tuition, at the age of about 3.

Being unable to read and write is simply a matter of laziness on the part of the child or, occasionally, inadequate parenting.


Proverbs 26:10-16 may clarify matters here. If you have trouble with it, you can ask an adult to read it to you.

With I do respect, this argument seems to be abit inappropriate. Down syndrome is a chromosomal disorder caused by an extra autosome [non-sex related chromosome]. If any of you are wondering, Chromosomes are small protein fibres in the nucleus (brain) of a cell that contains DNA. They act sort of like folders for God's instructions, how to reproduce, how to survive and how to behave. There are countless queries and studies that proves that Down syndrome is not a lifestyle choice. Furthermore, your proposal to punish the sufferers of Down syndrome and their guardians to 'labour camps' is comparable to the Nazi reigme's policy against Semites, by now I am certain you are all acquainted with. I don't like them as they make me really uncomfortable - I was buying a MacDonalds the other day and I was queuing up and they were a load of them there, I don't think they should be out when normal people are around. Seperating them would be a good thing.

We had a mong at school and we used to beat him up.

Welcome to this forum. On this forum we have an introduction (sub)forum. The Christians here appreciate it if you post your introduction there before you start roaming around the forum. They like to know who is posting here. In the description of said (sub)forum there are some simple pointers, please keep those in mind!

As for credited sources, as far as I know, here you can only use the Bible as such.

Well, I don't think any of us were wondering, but the idea of God needing folders to keep His instructions in sounds dangerously like heresy to me.

I am also weeping because while we know the Bible and the science, your education is still deficient in both. That is about to change right now, as we start to assess your polite but misleading post.

No-one suspects that there would not be something wrong with the chromosomes of a retard representing the Down type. However, what does have to do with the Down syndrome not being a choice? God has Created everything (Genesis 1:1) and He can meddle with the chromosomes at the moment of fertilization easily (Revelation 19:6) if He wishes and, apparently, He often does. It is well-known that chromosome 21 is present in triplicate = trisomy) in the cells of Down syndrome patients. Alternatively, only part of the long arm of chromosome 21 might be translocated to another chromosome thus giving the appearance of a normal karyotype that still contains extra material from chromosome 21.

Incidentally, chromosomes are not "small protein fibres in the nucleus (brain) of a cell". Chromosomes consist of deoxyribonucleic acid that is twisted around some histone proteins (that do not form fibers). Please, try to get your genetics straight.



Now that that's been taken care of, we come to the "lifestyle choice part". There are many choices by sinners that lead i) to the birth of a retarded offspring and ii) prevent Jesus from healing him.

Choice 1: Sinful ancestors. God punishes not only the sinners but their progeny up to 4-10 generations. Thus it is clear the the family of a Down child committed some grievous sins causing this disorder. Proof:

Exodus 34:7
Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

Deuteronomy 23:2
A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD.

Thus, a choice, perhaps not of the person with the trisomy but still a choice, a choice of a sinful, revolting lifestyle somewhere along the bloodline that led to the afflicted child.

Choice 2: To keep on displaying the retard phenotype and ignoring the cure that would be readily available. Prayer can cure anything, if the person asking for the cure is a True Believer™. I, for instance, have been down with the flue quite a few times, but I've always recovered after adequate prayer. Proof:

It is heartbreaking that the people close to the Down child refuse to help it with prayer. In case they have prayed, the lack of success shows without any doubt that they were not Real Christians™. Proof:

Those are the choices. A choice of a sinful lifestyle followed by choices to keep up this lifestyle even if it could be cured immediately. Only by exposing these sorry individuals to the Bible and God's Word can we help them! Still, whatever the outcome, it is all for God's Glory, it is always Good as it is the Will of Jesus! Proof:

I chose to act like this to spite the Lord God Almighty. i truly repent and after 3 months of conversion therapy (including stoning and live burning!) i was able to be saved. this forum was part of what changed me and i want to thank you for the opportunity to be welcomed to worship with you.

What would you do if a child you had was cursed with Downsyndrome, would you have no choice but to blame your own sins for his unfortunate disability and feel sorry for the poor chap for having such a despise because of you?
