What other word is needed? Retarded is a medical term for people born without sense, the capacity for love or friendship, or the ability to learn more a few more skills than finger painting.

That's not what asperger's is about, answering questions isn't that hard for them. They'll answer it like we do, even without therapy. Their IQ is average to high. I would say they're socially awkward. That doesn't mean they crap on the carpets, drool all around, act like savages. They just have a hard time expressing their feelings. That's why friendship and love takes a little longer. But once they learn to express those feelings, it's possible for them to just have friendships like we do. Does that really makes them retards? Most people with aspergers actually have a normal life once they get older. Of course not all of them. But can u call them retards for that? And is it just the time they get or would u say it's all because of God who decided they can be normal? Asperger's have the ability to go to a normal life, while people with down's syndrom will remain the same.
