What I see is that no matter how farfetched or horrific their beliefs are, they can explain why they believe such things and back them up with their holy book. You, on the other hand, hardly ever move beyond mere "proof by assertion," and when you do, it's to name-calling.

Let me put it another way. Suppose that I made a great show of claiming to be a Muslim, but that whenever I said anything about Islam, real Muslims pointed out how I was contradicting the Qur'an and the Hadiths. Whom would you take more seriously as an authority on what Islam actually is: me or the people who could defend their position using the Qur'an and the Hadiths?

Just like how I embrace fantasy, because it helped us learn. As for the question of how many sins I've committed, that's none of your concern, because we have different views on what a sin is. For instance, you people think it's a sin to be autistic, and being proud to be different. But how much of the Bible do you ignore, how many sins have you committed? Because I don't ignore any part of the Bible, it's wrong.

I do not 'think' anything. I follow the Holy Bible and it is what God 'thinks' that matters and by His Almighty Words of Wisdom that I live.

We follow exactly what the Bible says. We do not ignore bits that are socially unacceptable because that would mean we are ignoring God.

For example. God says in Leviticus 20:13 that gays should be killed. God also says that if you forget one part of the Bible you have forgotten them all.

You can see the problem. I have nothing personally against gays (some of the most decent people I used to know are gay) but the Bible tells us God hates them and I'm a Christian to I have to behave like a Christian.

Otherwise I may as well make up my own personal version of Christianity: that would not be very faithful to Jesus and His temporary Sacrifice to save us from His punishment for being born, would it?

Simple untrue. If a Pastor told me that it was fine to fellowship with the gaywise I would refuse because that is contradicted by the Bible.

A Pastor may have a better working knowledge of the Bible (our very own Pastor Zeke had memorised the Bible by five years old) but if he said something that is contrary to the Bible he would be soon found out a vilified.

That's the beauty of the Bible. It is all there in black and white. You might not like the fact Jesus wants gays dead, but it's all there in black and white.

It is not us you need to take it up with: it is Jesus.
