HomeSchooling Question - Should we teach women to read and write?
Dear Fellow Christians,
We (God's Hammer Baptist Church, Westfield, Massachusetts) have received a lot of bad press recently because of changes to our Home Schooling Curriculum. Well, I would just like to take this opportunity to answer our Godless critics - who say our refusal to teach the young women of our congregation how to read and write is both evil and sexist. Friends, there is nothing evil about it! We are saving these girls from a life of disappointment, a life of heartbreak, a life of misery.
There are so many evil feminist Nazi’s out there who fill these girl’s heads with pipedreams and nonsense. They tell them women are just as smart as men, and other feminist lies. These are the kind of people would build your children’s hopes up, only to dash them. Friends, there is no hope to lose if they have none to begin with. And who needs a career anyways, when you have a husband and little ones to tend to?
So let me first say this - No good Christian man wants some childish gossip-monger and silly-head for a wife. Most women of today go around with their head so full of trash and nonsense, gossip and garbage. They spend a great deal of their time worrying about people they don't even know, thinking about their own selfish little daydreams, Godless celebrities and Satanic fashions, instead of concentrating on reality. This is exactly the reason we stopped teaching our girls reading and writing in the first place!
Just listen to some of the silly nonsense that so-called 'educated' girl's talk about today - “Will Brad split from Jen this week? Will J-2-Lo's baby be a boy or a girl? Will Puffydog go to Prison for his latest gun-drug-rap felony? Will JFed get custody of Britney's kids???... blah ... blah ... blah.... blah.... blah.... ” Shut up woman, and get back to your cooking!
We teach OUR women what they NEED to know - How to make their prospective husbands happy, and to raise joyful well-adjusted children - as good women should. ONLY male children are normally taught to read or write in our community. Females are taught how to sew, clean, wash, make clothing, cook, look after the little ones, and similar skills and talents more suited to their female nature. I see nothing wrong with this attitude, as it makes for happy families.
But let me just add that we are NOT completely against teaching girls how to read or write. There are SOME exceptions to the rules ie. girls who show great promise. Girl’s who serve God, not their own selfish natures. These are the kind of girls we should be CHOOSING how to read and write. Girl’s like our own Sister Ruth Clark, who paints signs for our peaceful Christian protests and helps with our loving Christian website. Women on these forums, like the gentle Sister Talitha, who knows how to please God and is actually a Super Moderator here at Landover! Thank the Lord for Sister Talitha! Then we have women in other Churches, like the good Sister Shirley Phelps, who all but runs Westboro Baptist Church single-handedly - even though she’s a filthy whore with a fatherless bastard child, we’re sure God appreciates the work she’s doing. Glory!
We must be more choosy with the girls we DO teach how to read and write. After all, we have THEIR futures in OUR hands.
Praise Jesus!
