I have flown into the atmosphere on a concord jet between brittan and france during that early 90's. I have seen with my own eyes that the earth is in fact round.

Discipline uses the rod, or perhaps an open hand on the buttocks. It is exercised only to correct inappropriate or undesirable behavior, and not in anger but as a learning tool.

Abuse is when a man hits a woman (or a woman hits a man, far more common these days) out of anger or frustration.

In a True Christian™ household, there are no white-trash, knock-down drag-out fights between husband and wife. If the wife gets out of her place, she is typically sent to her prayer closet for a while to consider what she has done. Then, an appropriate correction is administered.

It leads to a happy, harmonious home in which the husband follows Jesus, and the wife follows the husband.
