So now the brilliant and inspired theological debates based on thoughts about God that you have entirely in your own head have failed you think it's safer to pick on a young, married woman and undermine her marriage and seduce good women into disobedience to their husbands?

Friend, I don't send my husband anywhere. Nor am I foolish enough like young Naomi here to get myself into trouble. Further, as the mother of a large brood of children, we recognize the value of natural consequences. Should I get myself into a donnybrook, surely my husband would let me learn my lesson the natural way.

What an awkward piece of advice coming in the midst of a conversation that reveals the depths of the good Captain's provision for his simpleton wife. Here he comes to her defense, brought on by her own public whining. In my own opinion (for whatever its worth), I think this is quite a lovely example of the kind of sacrifice Jesus calls True Christians™ to take on when He speaks of taking up their cross (Luke 9:23), in caring for her when she's turned out to be quite the burden to him.

Hey Captain Pugwash, why dont you bring it woman basher. I have lived long enough and would not regret a meeting with you no matter how it turned out. women bashers are usually cowards. so send all the threatening PM's you want.

Mrs Portway, In my country your husband would be jailed for doing what is doing to you, and would be receiving the very same treatment by a very large hairy man.

Run for your life and never look back. a life time of slavery is all you have to look forward to with this man.

Who you calling evil boy! I swear it REALLY cheeses me off when some unsaved panty-waist comes stamping his little girl feet into OUR forum and tries to tell us how to run OUR lives!

You've obviously never read the Bible or you wouldn't be running your mouth like an idiot. Here, suck on this you retard!

Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

    Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;

And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
    Hebrews 12:9-13

    I'm sorry?

You do realise what it means to 'bash' a man, don't you? I was under the impression that you was a fella.

Now I'm disposed to apprehend you as a woman masquarading as a man attempting to tempt the good Captain into adultery as you bash him off?

You may not approve of his wedding to whatshername but to try to tempt him to commit adultery (when his wife is pregnant!) is beyond the pale.

    For shame madam, for shame!

Aaron wanted me to post that he doesn't beat me, he just chastens me like it says in the Bible and he only does it when I just won't listen or if I break a dish or something else expensive, since they don't grow on trees.

Also, I'm don't feel as sick anymore, just sometimes in the mornings I get sick when I first start cleaning out the hog pens because it doesn't smell very good but Aaron says that if God wanted pig poo to smell like roses then it would.

And to the unsaved man who says he wants to fight my husband, Aaron says to go ahead and bring it you puss, and he hopes you packed a lunch. I'm not sure what that mean, but he wanted me to say it, so I did.

Are you serious? That girl is her father or husband's responsibility and beating her is what the Bible demands if she can't do as she is bidden.

Please show me in the KJV Bible where it is required that a complete stranger interfere in the domestic business of another man.

    Chapter and verse.
