Any definitive evidence that they do any more than certain TV shows, or say Fundamentalist religious texts?

Videogames are spawned in the bowels of hell. GTA is one of the most evil, hate filled examples.
I absolutely love it. BWA HA HA HA

Re: Grand Theft Auto 4: Murder Simulator to be released on Tuesda
Sure, they will release more of this type of games and sure, there will be more killings but the main problem doesn't lie with the games alone, the games are just a small part of a bigger problem. Why doesn't every gamer goes on rampage?? because he/she might have a different background. All the kids who committed these crimes had a history of not fitting in in there school or surroundings, there were bullied in school and were socially banned. How would you feel if you go to a school where you are subject to constant fear of being beaten, insulted and abused?? Yeah, many would feel hate and anger and along comes a little spider called a videogame, a tool so powerfull nowadays that reality get absorbed by fiction and that's the little spark they need to go on their rampage.
And now I hear many thinking, Yes, you see it's the Videogame who did it!! No my dear, the videogame isn't the one to blame, it's how other people treat people. The game is just a spark into the gasbotlle just before it explodes, it was destined to happen and it only needed a little push. The gaming world is big, very big and if the game alone would be the problem than things would have gone mad already but the clue is that many gamers just have a normal live, grow up and be perfectly sane people because they didn't have to endure all the abuse of some highschool punks who thought it was funny to make a little fun with "that geeky boy/girl".

So hitler was probably playing violent video games when he thought about killing all those jews...I mean it makes sense after reading this topic.Originally posted by Nobar King View PostI predict even more people will post here evidence that video games don't cause murder, using as their evidence stories of video game players who went out and killed people. I think the game itself will eventually blow over like a lot of the other killer games out there. Although, the more you try to generalize it as a bad thing and try to restrict it, the more people will be interested in it and will want to play it.

Have you ever begun to think that the reason people lash out and kill other is because they are talked down upon / and mentally beaten?
Cho's girlfriend broke up with him - and everyone made him feel like an outsider. The kids at Columbine were the "weirdos" too - same with Weise of Red Lake. And if I had more time , exams for school in a few minutes, I would gladly sit here and prove all of your accusations on games being the cause of school shootings wrong.
Not everyone can take insults or mockery constantly and deal with it. And I'm surprised to see a Reverend talk so lowly of other people - Muslims and "Computer Nerds".
How can you even associate yourself with your religion if you are only going to mock others for what they believe. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Somebody at some point said "twisted open source". What's twisted about having free software? Software that you control? Unlike this forum software.

Well in this news clipping he hasn't even played the game yet - it was still in the packaging for all you know he could have bought it for his cousin or some such. This game doesn't give you points for running over prostitutes while drunk either - I've played it. It's realistic simulation following a tragic story about crime life. Has anyone here ever seen The Godfather? Violent yes, but it was an amazing set of movies.Originally posted by Nobar King View PostGTA4 is going to be the source of all kinds of crimes, the least of which is not going to be shoplifting the damn game.

I haven't read all the posts in this topic yet - but has anyone realized that it's rated M, you need to be 17 and up to even buy the game. You should look to the parents who are buying this for their kids instead of blaming the content of the game.
Don't use an excuse like "Well my child could go to his friends house and play it" Well your child could go to his friends house and smoke weed - you take that risk when you let your child go out. Stop blaming video games and start being a better parent and be aware of what your children are doing. And if they're 18 and play this game and decide to murder people - well they're adults it's THEIR decision.

It's all to do with HTML coding, despite how basic it may seem. If you know about that, and can guess a certain Administrator's password (which btw, were way too easy!), then you have unlimited access to the site.

No, it was quite a complex process really. It's all to do with exploiting the issue regarding sins and forgiveness. See, if you commit a sin, then you at least have the chance to ask for forgiveness, even if you don't deserve it, you reserve that rite to ask for it.
So the first thing you do is commit a sin, and apologise for it straight away. That way, nobody will know the even bigger sin you're about to commit. If hacking is considered a sin. IP addresses were first and foremost. You can never tell when you need them. However, I was quite confused by the 'donation' set-up you have, so I delved into it a little further.
I've no doubt in my mind that as God-followers, you would have kept the same passwords for your own personal online bank accounts, so all I needed was a generator to track down the account numbers, and the sort-codes. Didn't take as long as I imagined, thankfully, but the connection kept on timing out, which didn't really bother me too much.
It all paid off in the end though (remind you of anything, 'pastors'?), as I found exactly what I was looking for. Bank statements. Bank statements of the past twelve months. And at the end of every month, a lump sum is deposited into that account. Curious, I did the exact same process with the rest of the so-called 'men-of-God', and it turns out that they too had a huge lump sum deposited into their accounts on the very same day.
Now, it doesn't take a genius to figure all of this out, but it's blatant that the majority of you are simpletons, so I'll explain...
Comparing the sum total of each 'large deposit' to the monthly intake from the 'donations fund', I noticed that it was accountable for 90% of the total each time. 90%? Where does the other 10% go? On hosting of course, and certain members of staff who're working behind-the-scenes and keep this place running.
Does this sound like charity to you? No. This is fraud. Something that the IRS would not take too kindly to. I know that this post is likely to be removed, and I will be banned, but it doesn't really matter now, as all the evidence has already been e-mailed to a contact of mind in the States, who will pass this on to the appropriate authorities.
I truly am sorry to do this to all the people who do actually believe in this religion, and the website, but you have a blindfold over your eyes, and a hole in your pockets. I'm here to remove that blindfold, and lend you needle & thread. You'll find your money will be more plentiful.
Please, free yourselves from this manipulation. If there was a God, do you think he'd want your money? What use of it does he have? Humans created money as a form of currency, to trade items, so that we may survive more comfortably. By all means, donate to charity, just don't feed the fat!
