I found out my that one of my mothers friends has been diagnosed with Bipolar disorder. She's on the medication for more than 30 years now.
I am praying for her, but she won't let the Lord in her heart (and mind in this case ) and dump the meds for Him the way I did.

How can I convince her (without her thinking I'm the crazy one) to do the right thing?

What she needs is faith, dear. Faith in God comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17). If you truly care about your mother's friend, you will follow her and read aloud from the Holy Bible so she cannot but help to hear it. You should follow her to work, home again after work, to church, to the store, as she runs her errands throughout the week. Continue to speak aloud the Word of God exactly as written in the King James Version Holy Bible. You may wish to procure a bullhorn for this purpose. Don't let the stares of the unsaved get you down. They could use a little Godly influence as well. When you get to the end of the Book of Revelation, if she has not rebuked the influence of Satan in her life and accepted Jesus Christ as her lord and master, then start all over again from the very beginning! There's no such thing as hearing the Word of God too much!

So simple, even a child can do it.

I'm not justifying my "life choices". I don't have anything to justify, as what I have are not choices at all. It's not my fault that you guys will not ever budge your view, if even for just a second. Maybe if you would, you'd realise that your perspective is totally ridiculous. Honestly, if god is going to be as horrible as you all portray him, then I hope he really doesn't exist. I'm not asking for you all to 'look at me', I want you guys to see that bipolar disorder is a real thing, and that you all completely overlooking the struggles people with it go through is kind of hurtful. I'm gay, and I don't obsess over male parts or masturbation. I don't have any mental anguish, but if I do then it's because of all of your ignorance. I am a decent person, and I've never told you what my sexual orientation is. I've said that I'm gay. I never said anything more. I think it's ridiculous that you assume things like that. Until I say that I'm not straight, you have no right to assume otherwise.

God is not horrible, He has expectations. Like a parent, He expects us to do well. It is when we disappoint Him (like you are) that Gods Wrath is a terrible thing. God has high expectations. He only cares about those that please Him. Not pleasing Him is a choice you have made. Until you do only what He wants, He really could care less about you. This is where True Christians(tm) come in,. We plead with the trash of the world, to open their eyes and see the errors of their ways. If we do it well enough, God will look favorably upon us.

Bipolar is just an excuse to act out and be self indulgent. Think about what God wants and almost as importantly, how hard we are trying to Save(r) you. Please, stop being so selfish and self absorbed. It is unbecoming.

Schizophrenia: Hearing voices, seeing things which aren't there. Clearly a sign of demonic possession, not some mental illness. That's why they don't give them antibiotics to cure the 'illness'. There is no illness to cure.

Autism: An obnoxious child too caught up in his or her own world and sick imaginings to pay attention to reality and the need to focus on what he or she can do to appease God and get into heaven. The 'treatment' involves liberal application of Proverbs 13:24

Depression: People get depressed all the time. People also get happy all the time. Is happy a 'mental illness?" Is melancholy a mental illness? Is frustration a mental illness? We have these things called EMOTIONS. Depression is one of them. Get over it.

Anxiety: Another emotion. I would be anxious if I thought I had spoiled my chances of getting into heaven. The only medicine you need for that anxiety is the Holy Bible.

These things aren't illnesses. Some are intentional misbehavior, some are demonic possessions, and the rest are just part of being human. Straighten up your act, get Baptized, and get right with Jesus. Simple.

And my parents never expect too much of me. They know that some things are impossible. They say "oh you don't feel good? I'll make you some chicken noodle soup and pop in a disney classic" and they don't just say "pray to god maybe you'll feel better" because that would be a horrible thing to say. Sometimes high expectations are too much. And if I disappoint them then they'll say "oh I'm disappointed now you are grounded".. they won't say "oh you horrible horrible person I'm disowning you get out". Also, god seems kind of like an asshole. He seems kind of self-centered and "do what I want you to do or else you'll spend eternity with lava girl" and as much fun as that sounds that seems a bit over the top, don't you think? Why should we have to please him? By what you said, I could say "if I don't get the exact flavour of sweets that I like by this time tomorrow then I will no longer be your friend and I will hate you and send you to hell" and that's totally unreasonable, even if dancing with Little Lucy Lucifer would be fun.

Bipolar is not an excuse to do anything. A lot of the time, it's dormant. I don't get really mad at someone and then say "oh I'm sorry hahahah see I'm bipolar" because that's not how it works. I'm not super selfish or self absorbed. I'm actually taking out the time to enlighten you when really I could be writing or watching Glee right now or something. I beg to differ. Sir, I can tell you that with intentional misbehavior, demonic possession (what? Like pea soup?) and emotions, you don't get the feeling of slipping, slipping, slipping down a slippery slope, drenched in butter, oh no I can't fall, it's dark down there, what if there are spiders, like you do when you're about to slip into something that is real and scary and unable to get out of. It feels like insanity, and I'm pretty sure being human can't top that. There's no ladder that you can climb up to get you out, and there's no one tossing in a flashlight. You're stuck and there's no way out. But when you're sad, you can just eat a muffin and then you're happy. And when you're misbehaving, you can just start to behave in the snap of my fingers, and I'm not even going to address demonic possession because that's dumb. (Pea soup!) None of those can compete with real, living mental disorders because no matter the intensity, it's there and you know it's there and you can't just get rid of it.

Okay, you guys are all on a bus and the bus is really heavy because there's loads of you on there.
