It is just a way of personal expression, and most of them are NOT junkies, drinkers, self abusers, abusers, sluts, or anything else you said.

If you really looked into goth you would know that they dont think their vampires, and the dark look is just that. A look. And nothing more. I have friends who are goth and just because they were dark colors doesnt mean that they are going to go kill themselve or job some place for drug money.
