If that were me I would have smacked that child right upside the head with my Bible! Just like that time I smacked that crying toddler in the Red Lobster.

Raising a child without regular beatings in payment for their constant, vile sins will produce a child who is susceptible to all kinds of nonsense. They become interested in fashion, Karl Marx, drinking strong whiskey and so forth.

Children these days! I've been forced to give many spankings out because of misbehavior in the girls in the nursery at church. If only they accepted children! Nothing a good spanking, time out, another spanking, lecturing about the necessity of obedience in their entire life and letting their parents know, doesn't solve.
