    Happy Birthday, meek Sister in Christ!

    May Jesus hold you tight tonight and promise you a hasty exit from this sin-ridden world into the better one in Heaven. There'll be no more nasty sea to lure young boys into evolutionary expeditions or young women to take a pique-nique basket on the sand to flaunt themselves before their ogling suitors.

      Dear sister, you may have had to spend yet another year on this fallen Earthly plane but all too soon Jesus will lovingly call you to His muscular side.

      His call could be that chicken sandwich, heavy with the Salmonella. Or that anvil that you carelessly walk under.

      It could be a case of the Ebolas that time that nigra served you in that restaurant that time.

      Or even a shadow that divinely accidentally falls on your face making you look black to a policeman who then heroically shoots you in the back as you are trying to explain.

      Soon dear sister, soon.

          Thank you so much for your kind thoughts, Brother Professor Dr White and Brother Dr Niles, Sirs.

          I admit that (in my weakness) I am sometimes torn between the longing to leave this perfectly ghastly world and take my place at the Feet of Our Lord, and the desire to continue to serve my dear husband, raise my children and bear more Soldiers for Christ. It is comforting to be reminded that my unimportant life is in His Holy Hands.
