Tessar is a name they used to give to a certain type of lens, you are correct that it means four as a Tessar lens consists out of 4 elements.

You have to watch your mouth around these people. They'll twist everything you say. Yes, I enjoy watching my pastor slam sinners. Yes, I have been caught tapping my toe to the driving beats of Casting Crowns. Yes, before I found Christ, I made some mistakes. Yes, when it comes to my own children, I spare not the rod.

It takes a special kind of prurience to read homo-sex into honest Christian writing, but it's possible. Anne's lewdness reminds me of that of a leeringly disobedient schoolgirl.
