How can I praise God while I sleep?

I sleep at least 8 hours a day. Thats a lot of time wasted by not doing Gods work. While I sleep, I suffer anxiety induced nightmares and wake feeling exhausted. How can I praise God while I sleep and get the rest I crave?

I only sleep 2 or 3 hours a day. The rest of the day I spend praising Jesus or disciplining my servants.

I am also a tormented sleeper. My dreams are filled with Visions I can only assume are sent by Satan. I will not befoul this Godly forum by describing the horrid temptations and lurid scenes of wanton debauchery that haunt my dreams, as I would not want to offend any of the good Ladies of Landover. Or the men for that matter, as the wantoness gets really, really, REALLY wanton sometimes. I mean, it gets so wanton and filthy and perverted that I wonder why the Devil thinks he needs to over do it like that. I mean come on, I get it already. But he just keeps it up, night after night with perversion after perversion after perversion!

I recommend sleeping with a KJV1611 Bible under your pillow. Every time the Devil afflicts a part of your body, give it a good hard smack with that Bible! After discovering that my son Skeeter's bedposts were wearing holes in the floor, I instructed him to do the same thing and the house got a lot quieter at night. HELPFUL MOTHER GLENDORA

I recommend sleeping with a KJV1611 Bible under your pillow. Every time the Devil afflicts a part of your body, give it a good hard smack with that Bible! I'd like to thank both of you good Ladies of Landover for you suggestions. I had no idea Lust Demons existed! I will try to get in contact with a Pastor, but since I'm here in sin-ridden California, it may have to be a session of Phone Prayer. And I will try sleeping with my KJV1611 and smiting the afflicted "part" whenever those evil Lust Demons show up.

A simple device that can help , is to sew have a pair of gloves sewn together so they reflect an attitude of prayer.

Before taking to your bed , don them.

This way ,not only do you pray yourself to sleep , even after your formal prayer,
But if you awake , you are already in a devotional situation and stance , and thus more likely to slip back into the joy of prayer.

A side benefit is that the gloves keep your hands out of other mischief by making damn sure they can't do any sinful wandering and twiddling.

This is especially good for teenagers.

Personally, I pray for hours before I go to bed. Then, after buttoning up all the buttons on my night shirt and dawning two modest pairs of sleep pants, I quietly sing hymns to myself and my wife to keep us both from having sinful dreams or engaging in recreational sex.

I would only advise you not to strike your sinful parts too hard or you may inadvertently keep yourself out of Heaven, unless you intend to become a eunuch for CHRIST, in which case He is a-okay with permenant damage!

I would caution you against that ...
God might mistake your intent as being along Onanistic lines...
and as God doesn't make mistakes that might mean you were inadvertently falling into a self-sealed sin-trap...

Equally, your parts might misinterpret your actions, and that could lead to a whole other kind of mess of a troublesome nature ,

and damnation,
shortsight,
hairy palms,
and a weakened blood-line for Christ should you ever seek to render any little soldiers unto the Lord.
