Hello Landover!

I have missed you all so! But I have Good News! As I mentioned before, my Benefactrix has promised me a full set of Real Clothes when I finish my 100th full lawnmower rebuild. I just completed #73!!!

Getting to use the laptop lately has been problematic, as my Benefactrix has started a “blog” about her Hummel Collection.

She is taking pictures of them as we speak, so I have a few minutes. I did get a chance a while ago to change my “Avatar” to a more recent picture. You can see the burlap sack I’ve been wearing since late July.

But once I get Real Clothes, I can set my Plan in motion. I am going to going to walk to Iowa!

I can’t wait to meet you all in Freehold! And now back to the Lawnmowers! They aren’t going to Rebuild themselves!

Fresno to Landover?? That's quite a walk. If God didn't want us to drive, why did He give us Hummers?

I realize that you're a little down on your luck right now, but surely financing plans and zero-cash-down won't go the way of Fannie Mae!?! It's a shame there's no rent-to-own trouser shops, or you might be in Landover already. Thankfully, the Lord has seen fit to also spare us of rent-to-own lawnmowers, or you might be sackclothed still.

You are probably well on your way East by now, Brother Ripcock! Truly, Glory awaits you in Freehold : ) I am so happy it sounds like you've overcome adversity in this life, and not turned from leading a simple life, as The Meek Shall Inherit the Earth, etc. etc.

If you are still fixing up lawnmowers, what about giving one of the riding kind a test run to Freehold? It would get you there faster. And Oh what a happy day that shall be for the Lord and YOU!
