On this day I'm thankful for JESUS

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Especially Jesus! I'm on my knees for you Jesus! I want your love inside me! Fill me up with your grace! Praise God! I love you Jesus! So much! Give it to me Jesus! I want the glory hard and fast! Yes! Yes! Amen!
I was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shore,
    Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more;
But the Master of the Sea heard my despairing cry,
From the waters lifted me, now safe am I!

Re: On this day I'm thankful for JESUS

How many folks have forgotten the place of Christ Jesus in all this? Without religious persecution in Europe and a merciful escape would there even be a Christian America? And the proof of the pudding, as they say, is that soon enough heretics landed and persecution resumed. The less prayer, the more heresy and regions liberated from the heresies of Rome become ripe for infiltration once more. It's happening now. They pretend to represent a good cause but all the time are agents of Rome of the most virulent kind, pledged to destroy everything and no longer even pretending.

    In prayer.

Exactly. Who do the atheists think the Pilgrims were giving thanks TO? Do they really believe there was no prayer at the original Thanksgiving? No attempt to teach the Red Injuns about salvation and sin? Thanksgiving is a Christian holiday and always has been. It's not about turkey it's about Jesus.

Re: On this day I'm thankful for JESUS

On a day to honor Jesus, let's remember Jesus condemns sinners. We should honor him by not holding homer Thanksgiving celebrations. Would it really hurt any homer to just leave it be for one day?

Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

The red man must have wondered WTF whiteboy was doing when he knelt down in front of them speaking in tongues. You can see the possibility for misunderstanding, in retrospect. Well anyway, the rest is history and they know now. Thanksgiving is a time for God, guns and taking our country back.

The invasion of the Americas by European Christians and the wholesale destruction of Injun civilizations, along with the death of the vast majority of their people, was bar none the best thing that ever happened to them. If it hadn't happened, how would any of them have ever heard the gospel and had the chance to accept Jesus? Yes they lost everything else, but they gained the possibility of salvation. The Injuns have more to give thanks for than anyone else on this day.

White colonists came along just in time. Natives were under the spell of those with "Two Spirits." These were Satanic trans people who claimed some spiritual gift and used it against their own tribal members.

When the Bible finally arrived and condemned these homers, things were a lot better for natives.

I went to college with a "Two-Spirit". Why they let her-m into a woman's college I do not know. During finals week, when everyone was shuffling along in flannel pajamas and unkempt hair, sh-im sported five o'clock shadow.

Goodness gracious sister, why ever did your parents send you to a lesbian institution? The whole point of sending a daughter to college was to get her married if she was already an old maid you couldn't find a suitor for by the time she was 18. How could you ever hope to find a husband there? Were your parents imbeciles?

We are all thankful Sister Handy made it through that close call with evil forces from the other side. Were it not for her strong faith who knows if we would be blessed by her presence here at Landover Baptist.

My college days were in the "Before" time. Before I encountered Landover Baptist Church and learned the difference between a deluded pretend Christian and a True Christian™.

Looking back, I am so grateful the Jesus led me through those dangerous years before I even understood what total commitment to God and His Holy Word meant. I was surrounded by lesbians and one or two even tried to "chat me up" as the Brits say. One of the young women trying to flirt with me would have been the cutest boy that I had ever known if The Lord had seen fit to bless her with a tallywacker.

All of that education could have led me completely astray, but Jesus knew that the high standards of grammar instilled in me at that institution could be used for His Glory. So, despite the best efforts of the most lesbian college known throughout the four corners of the earth, I remained straight and charmingly feminine.

And now I use my excruciatingly correct grammar, extensive vocabulary and scholar's insight to rip apart the weak, inconsistent arguments brought forth by snarky little challengers to the Biblical truths that we present here at .

Over the years, I have occasionally felt sorry for some of the fools who think that they can come here and best us in Biblical discussions. But, then I remember that Jesus wants me to be as fierce as a lesbian towards non-believers while remaining as soft and sweet as a marshmallow towards my True Christian™ Brethren. Truly, He had a plan for me even back in my heathen college days.

P.S. To answer your final question--my parents were Catholic. So, yes, they were imbeciles.
His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.

No God Bless you Mr. Lukes. Were it not for our efforts the atheist horde would have overtaken this forum by niw and made it impossible. Every person we send away, hopefully never to return, with our sanctimonious virtue - is just another thorn in Jesus' crown. Their rejection hurts Him only that He may not save them. The poor people will miss out on all His oratory.

So often when false religions commend education, the folly of their false beliefs are exposed in a secular environment to the pupils sent away. Falsehood is never replaced with The Truth in such dreadful places but with nothing. What's needed is more funding for Christian education to replace thinking and coming up with new ideas in a spiritual vacuum.

One place where thinking could be an advantage, though, is within the dilemma facing the heathen Romeo. He seems to know that Rome's dogma is facing a challenge but can't bring himself to assess the reasons why. If he did that, The Truth would be apparent to him. Perhaps I'll invite him along to a service to hear Pastor's message on the subject.
