Re: Harry "Blasphemous Bespectacled Witch" Potter Makes Me Sick

I am hoping to find some proper debates on religion - I think I am going to struggle here!

Boy, what do you dispute in God's Holy Word? So far all you've done is spew hatred and persecute us.

If there is something specific you want to discuss, then give me the scripture and we'll go at it, nancyboy.

If you wish a proper debate on religion, then ask questions. Perhaps you could state your beliefs in an intelligent paragraph or two?

You say our religion is wrong. Why do you believe it is wrong? You obviously subscribe to some religious doctrine.

This Silver Birch person you quoted in another thread sounds too much like Gandi. Tell us how they're different?

You can't just spout hateful remarks, like calling the bible the babble, and expect us to listen to you. Give us a reason to listen to you...
"If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing. . . . And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the manservant's do."
        (Leviticus 21:6-7)

Your idea of debating is obviously having everyone agree with you

If you prefer blindness, keep your eyes closed. If you prefer deafness keep your ears closed. But if you are wise, you will open the windows of your soul so that you can become aware of that mighty, vast power of the spirit which will strengthen and encourage you and make you know how life can be lived and enjoyed to the full. (Silver Birch)

                How nice for us.

We already have the Truth, and it is contained within the KJV1611.

As mentioned by others, we're happy to discuss and debate your beliefs with you, as long as you can do so in a polite and respectful manner. Insulting God and His Word is neither polite nor respectful.

YOU ARE A GUEST HERE. ACT LIKE IT.

You have only remained here as long as you have because WE CHOOSE to let you. You will only continue to post here as long as we CHOOSE to let you.

As long as you show yourself capable of carrying on civil discourse instead of spouting insults and profanity like scores of shock-value-craving imbeciles before you, you can remain and debate with us.

                REMEMBER THAT.

                Thank you.

Your metal tree seems to have written down what any four-year-old can figure out.
And may I point out that The Truth(TM) is in the Bible, not in what some man wrote. God strengthens our spirit and there is no need for totems to enable that.
