    Recommitting my life to Christ

    Brothers and Sisters,

I'm happy to announce that I've recommitted my life to Jesus Christ in every way. Every since I've been released from Quarantine I've been trying to surrender my life to Jesus but I always kept some part for myself. Whether it was what I watched on the Hellivision, what Satanic rock music I listened to, or more recently, how often I m~ed every day, Jesus refused to bless me until I totally gave into Him. I'm proud to say that just a few minutes ago, I did that. I've been reading recently on the JesusIsSavior website. Honestly, it scared, shocked, and revolted me all at once. I prayed the prayer of salvation (just to make sure) and continued reading. I got into the parts about gay pride and the kingdom of the beast and had to shut my computer off to keep from getting sick. I got down on my knees next to my bed and asked Jesus to forgive me of all of my sins that I've ever committed. I told Jesus that I pledge my life to Him in absolutely every way. I told Him that I promise to use the rest of my life to fight the kingdom of the beast and to further His Kingdom on the earth. I asked Him to just show me how I can do that and I would. You know what He told me? He told me to throw away all the t-shirts and start wearing a button-up shirt and tie. He told me to get a leather-bound KJV and start taking his word seriously. He told me to keep my hair cut and my beard shaved. He told me to be a descent heterosexual man, above reproach. He told me that when I did that, people would notice the difference and they'd ask me what was different. I stood up and thought about you all. He told me that I should share my experience with you all tonight so that I can see your responses in the morning. So, I'm going shopping tomorrow for button-up shirts and a new Bible, and whatever else Jesus wants me to get while I'm there. I'm going to live a new, fresh, Jesus-centered life. I feel the love of Jesus filling me already. God bless you all.

    -Seth

You've made the right decisions and hopefully God will reward you for them (no promises, though). Now that you're on the path to heaven, assuming you don't backslide, you're going to need a Godly occupation (please keep in mind Radio commentator is taken).

Well isn't this something. I've had come...conflicts of interest with some people at my old job and I have planned for days to give them my two-week notice today. I'll try to find a good, Christian job in the area and when I do, I'll let you all know.

You blasphemer! How dare you be so presumptious as to say you can "recommit" your life to Christ?!?? Don't you know Jesus says that only those who His Father called shall be drawn to him?! YOU HAVE NO CHOICE IN THE MATTER! The very fact that you think your salvation lies in your own works proves you are of the devil! A pox upon you!

          Mr. Basher,
You are Unsaved Trash. Seth is a member with a history (to say the least) with us here at Landover. If you wish to read (some of) his long story of trials and tribulations, they are here on our Godly boards.

Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
          Luke 6:36-38

I hope you take the meaning of this very gentle rebuke to heart. Respect your betters here, and in time you may become one of us.

As long as you're not a queer. God hates queers.

What a disturbing, yet possibly OK, post. Are we to believe that you yourself have accepted Jesus as your personal Savior, Mr. Basher? That's a yes or no question.

              Share with us your testimony.

Maybe if you actually understood the Bible, you would have come to a different opinion.

You were looking into a mirror when you typed that, right?

So far, in all your posts, we have seen absolutely zero evidence that you have either read nor understand the Holy Bible. I'm not even sure why you're here.
