According to you all, I am a horrible person and going to hell.

I am a vegan. Does this make me a bad person? Becuase I care about animals, this makes me a "witch" as said in one of your sermons?
I believe in compassion over killing. And becuase I believe in this, you all say I am going to hell?

What about the people who veganism has saved their life? There are many reports of people who have reversed their heart disease and some types of cancer by going on a plant-based diet. (becase you know cholesterol only comes from meat, dairy, and eggs.)

So you guys would have rather those people die, then not eat "what God put here for us to eat"?

I can't understand this. Why are you all against vegans? This makes me uncomfortable, and if this is how I am going to be treated when I come to church, I don't want to come.

Do you guys not realize all of the people you are pushing away, just becuase they have a different diet than you do?

I know many good, caring, loving people who are vegan or vegetarian, and I also know alot of mean, condescending meat eaters. I don't think what a person eats should label them as a "good" or "bad" person, but how they treat other people.

Also, I know someone is going to say something about my screen name.
The truth is, how can you be pro-life, (to an unborn fetus that may or may not be conscience) but you dont think its contradictory to eat a dead animal, that was able to feel pain, JUST LIKE YOU DO.

We don't decide who goes to Hell. God does. Have you read the Bible today? (Or ever?)

And I know a lot of mean, condescending vegans, who run around throwing blood on people who wear fur (instead of wasting it!) and scream "meat is murder".

Also, I know someone is going to say something about my screen name.

No. We own animals. God says so:

    Genesis 1:28

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Jesus ate meat. He also gave it to others to eat, thereby demonstrating that it is acceptable in His eyes.
    Mark 6:41
And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all.
    Why do you hate Jesus?

See? You said so yourself. Well, almost....

Sinner, you are obviously nuttier than a CHRISTMAS FRUITCAKE. Indeed, you might be the top nut upon it.

The Bible tells us that every single one of us is a horrible person who deserves to go to Hell. It is only by repenting of sin and accepting Christ as our savior that we can avoid this fate.

"Veganism is pro life", huh? What about all of those poor plants? Or do you only eat food that comes from plants that you don't have to kill to eat from, like fruit trees? Do you eat fruit? I thought vegans can't eat anything that animals produce or help produce, such as honey. Since insects pollinate the blossoms that become fruit, that means fruit is out for you.

If you are digging in your organic garden (and what vegan worth the name wouldn't have an organic garden) and you accidentally slice through an earthworm with your shovel, is your whole garden tainted and the produce inedible, or just the area where the earthworm was murdered? Do you have to throw that shovel away and get a new one?

What do you do about insect pests in your garden? I'm sure you don't use any kind of pesticides, even the organic ones. Do you let them have their way with your garden, or do you lovingly pick each caterpillar and aphid off one by one and move them to another part of the garden where you have a few sacrificial plants for the insects to gnaw on? What do you do if you accidentally squish one?

Maybe you should give up veganism and look into breatharianism.

Friend, what you don't seem to understand is that global warming is about to destroy the world and everything on it. It isn't from CO2 emissions or burning oil and coal. It's from methane. Almost all methane comes from cow farts. If we can't start killing the vile creatures faster than they can reproduce, we'll all be dead. Herds of feral cattle are roaming South America decimating the rainforests (the bison syndrome), and you are whining about soybeans and pine nuts.

Don't you think that the less cows eaten, the less are produced, which results in less methane being produced? I believe this is called supply and demand. If people stop eating cows, the demand goes down, and they don't breed as many cows.

There wouldn't naturally be billions of cows on this earth if we didn't mass produce them to feed people. We mass produce them, becuase people buy more, WAY more, than they need. That my friend, is called greed.

The answer to this seeming problem lies in a Biblical understanding of "life," or "living." Note that the Bible makes a sharp distinction between plants and animals. During Day Three of Creation Week, God commanded the inanimate earth to "bring forth plants" (Genesis 1:11,12), while on Day Five, He "created...every living creature that moveth" (v. 21). At this point, and on Day Six to follow, He instituted the concept of giving "life" (Hebrew nephesh) to non-living matter—something He did not do for plants. This required supernatural creation, and the resultant living animal kingdom was something new and different from all that had gone on before.
The Bible never refers to plants as living. They may "grow," or "flourish," but they do not "live." Neither do they "die." The Bible teaches that they may "wither," or "fade," but not "die," since they are not "alive," having neither "life" (nephesh), nor breath of life" (ruach), nor "blood" (i.e. "the life of the flesh is in the blood" [Leviticus 17:11]).

Oh. Then explain the MILLIONS of American Bison which roamed the United States expelling billions of tons of methane until we finally got them all. Was that supply and demand too? No. Your logic fails at every point. Do apples scream when you pick them? Who cares?

I am not killing those insects intentionally. If this were the case, I couldn't walk on the ground, becuase I might kill an ant, or I cant drive a car becuase I could run over a bug. At least I am making an effort not to kill, while some people who eat meat know they are directly contributing to killing.

Just becuase I can't stop all of the killing, doesn't mean I shouldn't try at all.

1 Corinthians 5:12-13For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

                            1 Corinthians 5:12-13
For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

                            1 Corinthians 6:2-3
Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?.

What about insects, worms, etc.? They die so you may live. Isn't that hypocritical?

I am not killing those insects intentionally. If this were the case, I couldn't walk on the ground, becuase I might kill an ant, or I cant drive a car becuase I could run over a bug. At least I am making an effort not to kill, while some people who eat meat know they are directly contributing to killing.

Just becuase I can't stop all of the killing, doesn't mean I shouldn't try at all.

Didn't jesus say "blessed be the merciful." ?
