Just wanted to remind folks it's White as Jesus Day (always falls on a Monday, right in the middle of January). And I don't want you party poopers to accuse us of distracting folks from that other holiday. I thought the soldiers cast lots for Jesus' robes. Did He make Himself some new ones during his 2+ days (rounded to 3) in the tomb?

Hmmm, I'd never really thought about it before, but Jesus must've left the tomb naked.

Luke 24:12 Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass.

Now if we look at the Matthew version, we see that Jesus told the ladies to go get the disciples (the folded clothes isn't mentioned)

Matthew 28:9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

Now why do you suppose they held Him by His feet?

Were they just embarrassed and didn't want to look Him in the eye, because He was unclothed?

This is an interesting question.
