A simple question...

Hello Landover Baptist Church,
This is Garroh and I just want to ask a simple question to anyone who can answer it.



What has become of you? I thought that Jesus preached about service and humility, the forgiveness of sin, faith, turning the other cheek, love for one's enemies as well as friends. Yet here I see nothing but zealous anti-semitism, self-righteousness, and overwhelming hubris. So I ask you again, what has become of you?

Know that I am no troll, merely curious and concerned to see such animosity and xenophobia towards nonbelievers and people who hold different views of the world.

I do not hate you, nor do I mock you, I only pity you and your narrow-sighted views.

You do not need to reference the bible to realize that statements like this one "Indeed. Also, look at that infamously fag-enabling country of Belgium: Jesus overthrew their prime minister after less than a year. God is not mocked." -Pastor Isaac Peters, cannot possibly advocate any kind of positive feeling towards another human being. What I'm saying is, that this seems a bit far from general Christian ethics and morals, namely the need for grace, mercy, and forgiveness because of human weakness. Does the phrase "love thy neighbor" mean anything anymore?

For the sake of example, lets say I do blast my stereo to the point that my neighbors tell me to turn it down. Of curse I would turn my stereo down, I respect them and their peace. What I'm saying is, given what I've read, I can see little respect for differences in our fellow man.
