That Wikipedia article is in error. Lolita was not pre-pubescent. She was a sexually active 12-year-old. Humbert's loves were not pre-pubescent at all -- just very young.

Humbert's nymphs had breasts and were sexually aware. That makes them pubescent. Not post-pubesecent sure, but pubesecent -- they had to be pubescent or he didn't find them attractive.

Annabel had sexual feelings and desires -- is this possible if she wasn't pubescent? Hardly. Almost by definintion puberty is that period went sexual awarness and desires start occuring.
