Is it appropriate for two men to live together?

So it's come to my attention that one of my young cousins who is going away to college plans to share an apartment with another man to help pay the rent. Now, I can assure you my cousin is absolutely straight, and neither he nor this other fellow have any inappropriate desires about this living arrangement.

Still, my mind misgives. I see no evidence of the Bible of two men living alone together. What do you think my brethren, does God approve of such an arrangement?

If both young men are straight and GODly, there isn't any immediate threat, but the devil knows how impressionable young people are and he may very well lay homo-erotic temptations before them. You might kindly offer to help them come up with a set of rules to live by.

Some of the more important rules might be they cannot be in the bathroom at the same time. This is to avoid them seeing each other naked of course, and to prevent the dangerous homo-erotic activity of towel snapping, as well as watching the other one brush his teeth.

It would be best they not sleep in the same room. If this cannot be avoided, one should tie the other one to his bedpost at night so that there is no temptation for him to get up and crawl into the other one's bed. They can pass the self-sacrificing honor of being bound to their bed back and fourth each night to keep their wrists and ankles from getting too irritated.

I would have your cousin take this test at www.gay-test.com on a weekly basis as a precaution. That way if he catches the disease, it's in its early stage and you can have him treated.
