There's a lot of stuff that's not in the Bible. I KNOW that God loves his creatures and that they have souls and will be with us in the afterlife.
Dog's are mans best friend .

I am glad you know that. I love to learn from those that truly know.

Please feel free to make an attempt to educate us. The truth comes from the Bible. The truth comes from Jesus' words.

      Tell us the truth...

        The Bible says otherwise.

2 Peter 1:20: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Matthew 4:4 Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Don't be ridiculous, the Bible tells us specifically that only humans have souls.

Genesis 1: 26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Only humans are made in the image of God, and we are in charge over all the other animals, not equals.

Genesis 9: 3Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

God tells humans they can eat any animal that moves. If they had souls, that would be murder.

He goes on to then forbid killing humans, because humans are in fact created in the image of God (ie, they have an immortal component to them)

Genesis 9:5And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man. 6Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

Leviticus 1: 2Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the LORD, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock.

God orders the ritualistic sacrifice of animals, but forbids this practice for humans, because we are more important.

If humans were equal to animals, than that would make God a hypocrite when he ordered:

Exodus 20: 13Thou shalt not kill.

Why is it when describing God's creation of animals, it did not mention souls? Yet when referring to man's creation it does?

Genesis 2: 7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

The Bible makes it clear animals and humans are not the same:

1 Corinthians 15: 39All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

In Genesis, none of the animals is a suitable companion for Adam. Even with all those pets, it still says Adam is alone, because there is no other real sentient creature with a soul around:

Genesis 2:18And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. 19And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
20And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

Unlike animals, humans are called the children of God:

Luke 3: 38Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.
