"They also serve who only stand and wait." Who are you to be putting down coloreds for their place in our society? Do YOU want to trim my hedges or clean my toilet? Probably not, if you are white like me. But many of my brown friends have found a real purpose in this life as garbage collectors, laborers (day and otherwise), taco stand vendors, bus drivers, and the like.

There is no indignity in work. If they were not here to do these things, when would I have time to walk in the park with my family? And who would tend the park? If they were not here to do these things, our lives would be cluttered with drudgery instead of the wonderful life that America makes possible for us.

So don't be calling me condescending when you don't even know the purpose of work and folks' stations in life.

so ethnicity is "curable". what a crock. there is nothing wrong with being a person of color. ignorance is very unbecoming. how is it you are able to judge a person because of something as superficial as the tone of their skin. that makes absolutely no sense at all. there is nothing telling in the hue of a persons skin. you cannot know a person by just looking at them.

Please don't misunderstand me, Hosay, and also please don't try to "trip me up" by changing the subject. I have a deep affection for all the brown-skinned peoples and their fast food favorites, too! I'll have you know some of the finest people I know are my gardeners and housekeepers!

So you say your parents were Christians? You know they believed the AV1611 King James Bible? If that's true, then it's possible they were unknowingly True Christians™, which prospect is quite exciting.

But what does their alleged relationship with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ© have to do with you?

I believe that kids will be kids, regardless of race, color, or creed. Although I do agree that most of us should practice better hygiene.

Fortunately I'm very understanding in this regard. Not only am I a former papist, but a former NUN! I know how difficult it is to break those horrible habits (in both regards), but with Jesus anything is possible!
