To answer Dr warren,

I believe that, like all of us, theres still great room for improving ourselves in the eyes of the Lord. Nobody is perfect, we're all human.

What I understand from this discussion is that this community is, although sometimes ignorant towards other groups of people, very passionate about the Bible and to the word. My family was similar, but there were cultural and financial aspects that sometimes interfered. Now that I'm in a safer and more stable surrounding, I can focus more on Gods word.

We are NOT ignorant of other groups of people. We believe what the AV611 King James Bible(TM) says about them! And you are correct that we are passionate about the Word of God, but more than that, we follow it completely. That's what makes us True Christians(TM).

With that in mind, I wonder why you say that "theres still great room for improving ourselves in the eyes of the Lord" (sic).

The truth is, once we are Saved(TM), we cannot sin, and are therefore considered perfect in God's eyes.

So becoming a True Christian(TM) makes us sin-proof and like God. Therefore we are worthy to sit with God.

The process is long, and most of it IS waiting. It's not that simple of a process.

I took the test only a few times every couple years, and just waited in line for my turn to become naturalized.

Back to our discussion before we were so rudely interrupted, I'm wondering about your description of yourself.

You claim you were "born into a Christian family," but you haven't detailed that at all for us. What does it mean to you? Do you think you are Saved(TM) because your parents are or were? Were they part of what you call a "KJV community", and what do you mean by that?

Ezekiel Bathfire has provided you with some sound basis for understanding your place in the world and in the Kingdom of God(TM) if you have ears to hear it.

What do you understand about the road to Salvation(TM)?

It is pretty obvious to anyone who can read that there are better nominees. Problem is, there are too many illegals here voting and suing. The pressure was on to have a 'hispanic of authority', esp. after the Gonzales nightmare. Sadly, that mistake is doomed to be repeated with this woman.

Mexican Americans are hard working people, and it's true that we do jobs that most white people wouldn't want to do. But that's not all we do. We're perfectly capable of being in the professional fields as well.

You may have read about people who read, "The Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy" in which the question, "What is the meaning of life the universe and everything?" was posed. The answer came back, "42".The essence of finding answers is in the framing of the question.

Christianity is not a particularly loving religion - "Love" is extended only to those who accept Christ - the rest are damned.

God does not want us to hate others from the start - he wants us to have them accept Him as God - if they fail by word or action anywhere on their journey to the grave, only then must a sanction be applied. (Usually death and damnation.) This is not hatred. Hatred is a strong word, "dispassionate and disinterested in their fate" may be a better description, although Jesus did encourage us to hate our parents and family.

It is not necessary to have the entire canon of His Works taught to others - it is not even necessary that others have heard of Him - they must simply accept Him.

"So many groups" is also incorrect. There are 2 groups in the world: those who accept Christ as their leader and those who do not. The former are True Christians™

It is the latter who will suffer the eternal torments of Hell.

These can be divided into
1. Those who have never heard of him, e.g. babies and savages
2. Those who have heard of him and reject him, e.g. atheists, agnostics, all other 'religions' and catholics.
3. Those who claim to follow Him but have their own ideas of what He wants from us, e.g. liberals.

All these are damned and without hope.

I regret if this is not the answer you anticipated but, as far as I can see, it is the answer God gives and thus it is correct.

There actually are big communities in Mexico that are KJV, although the majority is Roman Catholic.

Also, plase explain to me what my skin color has anything to do with my beliefs in Him. I find it irrelevant.

just so i understand let me try to clarify. from your reply i gather that you are uniquely qualified to put people into "their station" based on what!? based on ethnicity, the color of their skin, there country of origin? that seems so superficial to me. i am not sure why you feel that you can determine what others should or should not do. you don't seem like the type of person we would want to have that type of power. it seems to me that you would be someone we (as a society) would rather have you be seen and not heard. it doesn't sound like you should be in any position of authority with your backwoods views. i do find some solace in that your views are very much on the wain in this country.

"They also serve who only stand and wait." Who are you to be putting down coloreds for their place in our society? Do YOU want to trim my hedges or clean my toilet? Probably not, if you are white like me. But many of my brown friends have found a real purpose in this life as garbage collectors, laborers (day and otherwise), taco stand vendors, bus drivers, and the like.

There is no indignity in work. If they were not here to do these things, when would I have time to walk in the park with my family? And who would tend the park? If they were not here to do these things, our lives would be cluttered with drudgery instead of the wonderful life that America makes possible for us.

So don't be calling me condescending when you don't even know the purpose of work and folks' stations in life.
