That's exactly the reason why us Christians are better than you amoral atheists. We don't deal with neutrality. True Christians(tm) live their lives in strict accordance with what the King James Bible says, which means all of our actions (at least intentionally) are Good.

We don't have time to go around doing "neutral actions".

Doing "neutral actions" like yourself is just one small step away from EVIL actions, aren't you aware of that?

Interesting you say this. How do you think Karma operates? What is the principle behind it? Who is the intelligence behind handing out rewards and justice to those who deserve it?

I think that fear of punishment under the laws that Godly people have enacted is a big part of it. Just check out the statistics of atheists vs. Christians in prisons, or the crime rates of Christian vs. secular societies, and you'll see what I mean.

Like everyone else Atheists know God exists and what is right or wrong because it is written on their very hearts. They just lie about it come up with contrivances like "morality" and "secular law" so they can justify their own selfishness.

Atheists derive their moral values from the standards set by their community and from what was instilled in them as a child. Such standards originate from the rules of law, common courtesy, a desire to help ones fellow man and work for a common good, and religion itself which is often at the base of many Western nations. While religion teaches one morals, equivalent morals can be seen throughout society whether religious or atheist.

Yes it is a legal system, but a very very poor one. What kind of legal system sets free a thief rapist and crucifies the Son of God. Seems a little backwards to me. Good thing Jesus knew what He was doing.

You see, morality and the legal system is like evolution. It starts from nothing at first, then it eventually evolves, through failures and successes, into a somewhat perfect system that governs out life.

So as an atheist and concerning the origin of my morality, that is it.

How about when Pontius Pilate freed Barabbas over Jesus? Barabbas was due to be crucified for the crimes he commited - CRIMES. CONVICTION. PUNISHMENT.

Does that ring any bells? I mean, to me at least, that sounds exactly like a legal system to me. And don't even think about trying to retort with "Oh, but that is barbaric". Well, let me tell you, the legal system until just before these last two centuries was barbaric, and any county, including yours, that still uses capital punishment is barbaric.

What about the civilisations before Christianity was adopted?

For example, the ancient Greeks, the ancient Romans and the ancient Egyptians established a legal system that punished murderers and thieves, and they managed this without the morals that came from "God". To punish, you need a set of moral guidelines in which to punish them from, and they were established well before Christianity was even around.

It is incredibly arrogant to assume morals came from God and as an atheist, I can take comfort in the fact that we have always had a primordial sense of right and wrong.

As we all know, morals come from God. That’s why we have the Bible.

I know what is right and what is wrong because God tells me.

Atheists don’t have the Bible, and they reject God entirely. So, what is it that keeps them from going out and raping and stealing and murdering at will? What prevents them?

Is it the laws that Godly people put on the books, coupled with fear of punishment?

Is it part of their sinister plot, to prove that they’re “just like normal people” until they can take over?
