Many of you are already aware of the Ice Canopy theory of the global flood. If you aren't, it is mentioned in Genesis 1:6-8, the "upper waters" which God named heaven. It is this shield of ice which screened out cosmic radiation, allowing people in the time of Noah to live for centuries. It was this expanse of ice which later melted, creating the global flood.
Now, we may not be able to replicate the strong Hand of God which held this together, but science can produce something pretty close: carbon nanotubes. Secular scientists have spoken of using this stuff to construct elevators into space. Have you ever heard of anything more ridiculous? God's people can put it to much better use as a supporting structure for a shell of ice about 25 miles over the Earth's surface. It would be a massive undertaking, to say the least. But we've discussed blowing up the moon before (an idea I find distasteful. Just think of the debris that would produce. and it's kind of hard to have a fishing industry without tides), and Matthew 24:37-38 states that the last days will be as the days of Noah, which means that Nephilim will walk the earth, the hearts of man will be filled with wickedness, and a shell of ice will surround Earth. God says so.
Let's look at the benefits:
1. It will blot out the sky, preventing astrologers, mudslimes, and various other sky-worshipping pagans from seeing the objects of their adoration.
2. Extended lifespan, of course. In addition to the obvious benefits for the Sons and Daughters of God, it will make it harder for sinners to avoid their earthly punishment by a natural death.
3. It will keep satanic UFOs out of our damn atmosphere
4. With the stars blotted out, we can write the gospel on the underside in glowy paint. No one will be able to ignore God's word then!
