Marble is all well and good--but melts in acid rain. Yours is coal country.
Our nation runs on coal, and more of it, please!
Anywho, granite is no more in cost and shatters less when bulletstruck.
Speaking of costs. We used to have a local "rodent" problem.

Part of my job involves property development, and let me tell you that marble just won't cut it when it comes to security reasons..
It just isn't solid enough, and one can't be too careful.
What you need to do is get a wall made out of something like reinforced concrete covered with thick steel plate and topped off with (electrified) barbed wire.
Sure, it doesn't look as pretty as marble, but it keeps those thieving negros at a good distance.

Oh good,it doesn't sound too heavy so it won't affect the tun...um..it won't do too much damage should it fall during an earthquake.
