How does one give reputation points? I've received some (thank you, btw), but I have no idea how to give them out. At another forum I used to go to had basically the same sort of thing, and you had to have at least 50 posts to change other people's "karma". So, anyways how do the reputation points work? Thanks

Click on the little "scales" thing at the upper right of an individual post, and a little popup window should come up where you can approve or disapprove, and give a comment.

People at different "ranks" can give more points, but at this point no one + or - can change someone from 0 to 100 or 100 to 0 . . . it's a cumulative thing. But it does give a way to say, "RIGHT ON!" without a dozen little posts saying that!

And don't forget that Jesus is watching who you give rep points to. True Christian and above is always a safe bet as we cannot sin; but if you give some gothtard points for some smartassed remark Jesus puts another little checkmark beside your name.

That "karma" nonsense is nothing but a satanic incantaion from filthy hindoos who actively worship a blue-skinned, elephant-headed false God. Our reputation points are all recorded by the DOF and Jesus Christ. We do not dabble in diaper-headed claptrap.

I have some bad news and some more bad news. First everyone starts with ten points, which is where your points come from (no one has given them to you).

As far as giving rep to others, unsaved trash, like yourself don't have a chance.

Since you want to know how it works, I'll post the factors involved:

Register Date Factor
For every X number of days, users gain 1 point of reputation-altering power.

Post Count Factor
For every X number of posts, users gain 1 point of reputation-altering power.

Reputation Point Factor
For every X points of reputation, users gain 1 point of reputation-altering power.

Minimum Post Count
How many posts must a user have before his reputation hits count on others?

Minimum Reputation Count
How much reputation must a user have before his reputation hits count on others?

Daily Reputation Clicks Limit
How many reputation clicks can a user give over each 24 hour period? Administrators are exempt from this limit.

Reputation User Spread
How many different users must you give reputation to before you can hit the same person again? Administrators are exempt from this limit.

Let me make it plain that the story about the the numbers we use here being banged in arbitrarily by some Admin who neither knew nor really cared about what he was doing is a lie spread by Satan and his minions. In fact they were decided upon only after careful deliberation, and much prayer and fasting.

Oh? But I seem to have a message from another user (an "unsaved trash-under investigation" like myself) under the " Latest Reputation Received" section on the CP, saying that he has given me 10 points. My grand total is still only 10 though, not 20.

Concentrate on getting right with Jesus, my friend, and forget about this nonsense. Jesus has decreed that unsaved trash cannot give rep. (At least not unless they have been here about a year or so and have made over 8000 posts and etc, etc, etc.) Savvy.

~sigh~ I want too. It seems quite simple, to know the answer to things. Where do people go when they die? heaven/hell. How did we get here? God created us. And to pray when you need something. I've prayed before, and it has worked. I believe I could be a Christian if I wanted to be, but I don't think I could be a True Christian. "Where do the ducks go?" (CITR reference, if you cought that one. Just finished reading it in English) Don't we all wish we knew that. I want to have faith, but it seems so hopeless. I don't know if I'm good enough for Jesus to love me, even if I loved Him.
