    Re: Circular Logic...

Circular logic does not invalidate the bible. It doesn't validate it either, though. Thus, outside sources are required to validate or invalidate what is written in the bible. Many outside sources support what is written in the bible (although not 100% conclusively) and many don't (but again, not 100% conclusively). Thus, until 100% conclusive, verifiable evidence is found, the bible cannot be completely invalidated.

Here we go again. Just when you think we've run out of jerks around here - another circle jerk is on the board.

Nonsense, if God didn't exist were did The Bible come from; how can you explain a book thaty and iintuitively obvious to everyone who encounters it as the source of all morality?

Ya' all think abouts circles too much.
Circles are perfect and unbroken, thus they can be symbols of the Lord.

But if both positions are equally valid, then you get Pascal's wager:

If you believe God exists and it turns out He does not, you lose nothing: potential loss: 0, potential gain: ∞.

If you do not believe in God and it turns out that He does exist, you will go to Hell. Potential loss: ∞, potential gain: 0.

Thus, if you'd want to take a bet, what would a smart person choose... ? And this is without taking into account that praying to God will give you confirmation of His existence.

My friend, God does exist, all you need to do is look in the mirror and behold one of His creations. Look all around you and bask in His glory, God created all you see, feel, hear, touch and smell. With out God there would be nothing, with God we have everything!

Of course, because of the circular logic, the bible cannot validate itself either.

Validation of the bible thus requires information from an outside source.

Everything is circular, even the universe. The only thing that is straight is an imaginary line between two points. God certainly is not imaginary now, is he! He is made of many points of bright light and there is circular circles. Therefore all logic pertaining to him will also be circular because he is made of many points. Really not that hard to understand, even for an old guy.

    Dear friend:

Let's think this through sensibly. If God were bound by the very rules of logic that He Himself had written, then He would not be omnipotent, now, would He be?

Sounds to me like this person is spending way too much time in gay fern bars trying to "hook up" and using squishy, squashy logic to impress all the homos.

Once one of the queers agrees with him - bingo, one night stand.

    Disgusting.
