    Godly question

Does God have a sence of humor? Is there scripture that is written that shows it?
"And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth His glory; and His disciples believed on Him" (John 2:10-11 KJV)

Sense of humor? I find that to be insulting. There's nothing funny about your eternal salvation. God is very serious when it comes to sinners.

I guess I should have phrased it a little different.. Is it ok ta have a sence of humor.. Is it written anywhere.. I like to laugh and enjoy a good joke, but if its not ok I would like to know..

That question has absolutely nothing to do with what you first asked. Are you toying with us?

You'll find nothing of the sort. No where in the Bible does it mention God laughing at people who sin. Not a single verse depicts blaspheming as humorous. Your search will be fruitless. I already told you God takes his business very seriously and I recommend that you do as well.

              Re: Godly question

I understand now. we are able to laugh at the damned only.
Psalms 2:4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.
Psalms 37:13 The LORD shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.

Psalms 37:13 The LORD shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.

Proverbs 1:26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; (wisdom speaketh here)

Ezekiel 23:32 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou shalt drink of thy sister's cup deep and large: thou shalt be laughed to scorn and had in derision; it containeth much.

Ephesians 5:3-4 ...let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

I needed a good bible study.

              Thank you brother Jarakk

                Re: Godly question

I must thank you again Brother Jerakk for the red mark that made me wake up and do a little reading in my 1611.. Its marks like that, that make me want to be a better Christian.. After numerous emails to the Pastor, begging forgiveness and mercy, after being banned to eternal damnation that I was awoken to the Lords way. I think because it was the season of the Lords birth was the only reason he allowed me back on this Godly site. Now I do know I have the marks upon my head and I am under investigation for a bit, but I assure you my intentions are true and my soul is filled with disgust for my actions in the past. I have since learned that my 1 true path must be for the Lord Jesus only. I do have lots of questions and may be somewhat dumb to the ways of this site, but I am wanting to learn the true way..

                Please have patience with me..

Duely noted Pastor. After an extensive search of the matter, I was distracted by a few threads that had absolutly nothing to do with the subject at hand but were very informative. Thank You.
