African-Americans??

Hello fellow Christians; I'm a long time "lurker" and a first time poster. I am wondering, in the opinions of this Blessed congregation, where blacks came from? The closest precedent for this situation, in my humble opinion, is homosexuals; Corinthians 6:9-10 - "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." Clearly, homosexuals and homosexuality are abominations and should not exist on God's Earth. Frankly, apart from being the fornicators of the world, what exactly do African-Americans do (using the "politically correct" term to provide a fair and balanced debate).

A little bit of info about myself: I live in West Virginia, served in Operation: Desert Storm, and have been a devout Christian since the age of eight. I currently drive a truck for a living; if you have seen semi-trucks with the words "Jesus is Lord" on the side, you have seen mine. Enough about me, let's debate (ha!) the purpose of African-Americans and hopefully become closer to The Lord in the process.

I'm not too sure about your question. Do you really want to know where African-Americans come from, or were your just interested in the origin of the darker races?

God made them that way for a reason. We have a means to cure their more uncouth mannerisms and set the on the path to True Christianity(TM) but it takes time and money. More money really.

I stopped putting my pies on the windowsill to cool when Obama became President. I knew every Negro in America would become entitled and emboldened and try to steal and rape more.

This may be of interest. The way I interpret this is that black people are black because they work outside in the cotton fields all day. I'm not sure how this fits into the idea of Ham being the common ancestor of all Negros. Maybe it was the descendents of Ham who started working in the grape fields and cotton fields all day, which is why they are black.

2nd Corinthians 6:14--Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Seems pretty straight forward.
