Of course you'd vouch for the nigra terrorist.

We're discussing Godly candidates from God's favorite political party, the GOP. Congressman Hunter is a Manly man, a good Baptist, and he can continue to stay the course in the War on Islam.

And this is why we don't let America's enemies choose America's leaders.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Not only is it the right thing to do, but submitting to my husband, Mr. Whitford, feels right. It just goes to show you God knew what He was doing when He created men and women!

So if your husband prefers Candidate A and you actually believe that Candidate B is better, you would vote for A? You would go against your own conscience because he told you to? That's majorly fupped, Duck.

Me and Ira has always had a soft spot in our hearts fo' Senator Tom Coburn. A Godly Baptist man, Mista Coburn have fought to keep joo movies offa TV and have promised to stop the homosessal community from persecutin' True Christians™. They is also no question about his stance on abortion:

Well as an American with roots back to the Mayflower, I can tell you that we do not vote for Our Godly Commander-in-Chief based on how "interesting" he is. If that were the case, we might have had a President H. Ross Perot or a President Pat Paulsen. And as for being a smart Negro, he's only a Negro because his African Mandingo father ravished a Godly White flower of the prairie. In other words, the superior genes of his White mother went to his brain.

If God hadn't cursed you with barrenness, but had instead blessed you with a small child, would you consider it "loving" to respect their intelligence and let them decide for themself whether they wanted to take acid and fly an aeroplane? True.

Too bad I'm not old enough to vote. And live in Canada, and if I did vote, I'd be for the NDP.

No way Stephen Harper is getting my vote. The Liberals try to do some good, but never end up doing anything.

Jack Layton of the NDP would be the best choice in the last election, but after Harper being voted in, I lost some faith in the democratic process.

                        As for the US.....

A leader with a deffinite plan to get out of Iraq ASAP, and instead of pushing military strength, pushes diplomatic discussions with countries that the US is not on friendly terms with, would be worthy.

A leader who would actually would make universal health care in the US, open to whomever needs it, would be worthy.

A leader that starts programs for the preservation on the environment, would be worthy.

A leader which puts money into the educational system of the US, would be worthy.

As far as I know, none of the current candidates fill out this profile.
                        I like tacos.

Excuse the irony of the word, but Amen to that. Except according to the teachings of the Bible (if taken literally), it's not too far from the truth. Of course, that's one of the reasons I don't follow them. Love means trusting someone more than anything else in the world. That includes trusting them to think for themselves. Sadly, my, I quote sickular view isn't a favorable one 'round these parts.

Ah well. Such is the world we live in.

There's a difference between preventing a small child from harming itself and telling a grown woman how to vote. A small child does not always know what is best for it. A grown woman has the capacity to decide for herself what candidate she wants to vote for.

Re: 2008 election: who should be president?

The thought of having to choose between Rudy McRomney and Hitlery Edsama is scary indeed. Why can't we have the Godly GWB again, or at least Cheney?

Actually, I have a funny little feeling that GWB is here to stay. Any day now, a tragedy is going to befall our nation, leaving her battered and crippled... only for her to gloriously rise again with GWB at the reigns as Insurer of the Constitutional Government for Life. Truly, that will be the greatest day in the history of America or the world! Just a hunch I've got.

I'm liking Brownback's message, too, in spite of his ring-kissing tendancies. Same goes for Hunter, who's a Baptist and has recently made several hearty love offerings to our church. I don't trust Tancredo--he's too quiet and his name makes him sound like a Messcan't.
