I used to pay taxes but when I accidentally shot an inspector of taxes they stopped bothering me.

I am most pleased about this as I haven't filed or paid my taxes in the last 11 years. When the collector finally got through to me I told him that he would have a better chance pushing a camel through the eye of a needle than get a thin cent from me. To which he laughed and thought I was joking. I assured him, that I thought rendering onto this Caesar was not worthy of my meager dollars, and that the fiction of money will be exposed as nothing more than some concept created by man and not of God. Now knowing for sure that all this will come to end March 4 has delighted me so much that my skybox seat is ready for my arrival.

So IF God decides to change His mind (or rather: it turned out to be a test), you'd say that the best course of action is to go "haha, God doesn't exist".

Then might then of course make God decide to end the world after all. So basically, it's a self-fulfilling prophecy what you're proposing.

That's a good point. Also, just because God changes His mind, does not mean He doesn't exist either! Let's say March 4 comes and the world doesn't end. The atheists will be overjoyed saying "See! It didn't happen! God doesn't exist!"

But that is faulty reasoning, on another level.

Say for example you have a friend who has a friend you've always wanted to meet. You and your friend's friend have heard of each other through your friend and are both looking forward to meeting. Well, the day arrives and you are on your way to your friend's house to meet this new person. An emergency happens and you have to rush back home. You never show up at your friend's house while this new person is waiting.

An atheist is like this new person saying "You don't exist, because you never showed up.". Just because you never arrived and showed your face to this person, doesn't mean you don't exist.

But that is what these atheists who say March 4 is not the end of the world are claiming!

People who predict near-future apocalyptic events but are unable to influence them (god's wrath, end of the world) always back it up with "But God can change his mind any time". Thus actually saying: "If I'm right I'm right and if I'm wrong I'm still right since God saved the world and thus he must exist."

You took all that time to think up a username and password. You had to answer the registration question from the Bible. Then, you went to check your email to get the confirmation for you to join here.

Then God has apparently changed His mind, as He did when He intended to destroy Nineveh. God can change His mind when people repent from their sins, you know:

I will tell them that it certainly wasn't thanks to them that God gave the world a little more time to turn from evil. That there are some people who really did repent from their sins, and believed that the world was going to end on March 4, 2010, and that it was because of their belief, not the unbelief of ungrateful atheists like you, that the disaster was averted.

Nevertheless, I haven't seen many sinners turn to Christ so far, so I think we'll need to keep Project Habakkuk going.

Mark, when has anyone sweared at you (or anbody else for that matter). The thought that that may of happened realy upsets me. And of course I'll answer them both, though you know certain things cannot be discussed due to Project Habakkuk.

Well, we do hope Project Habakkuk will help more people to become saved. So I think everyone will benefit from the increased chance of getting saved. But you are right in that some people will make the wrong choice. Some people are apparently too stupid to become True Christians.
