    Question about rainbows.

This is an honest question, that after a few reading through this site has got me thinking.

Seeing as our religion, particularly your denomination is against homosexuality, you're also against anything to do with it. I saw the thread about Mac computers, and how the rainbow colours (which is used on the gay pride flag) are wrong and putting ideas into heads.

So, I was wondering, what do you think about actual rainbows? Because, seeing all of this, it seems you should be highly against them also, but didn't even God create a rainbow after flooding the Earth to promise he'd save those he loved and who loved him?

So yeah, what are your opinions on rainbows? Are they 'gay' or 'godly'?

    Re: Question about rainbows.

If you knew your Bible, you'd know that rainbows are God's promise that He will never kill every man, woman and child on earth by flood ever again.

Next time it will most likely be fire.

      Re: Question about rainbows.

The sodomites have stolen a lot of things from the rest of the world...

Gay used to mean happy, they took it.

Rainbows, a promise from God to never drown the earth again, stolen.

Pride, used to be something you felt when you did a good job, no straight man will discuss his pride in public anymore.

I could continue, but I'm already getting upset.

As others have posted, Rainbows in of themselves are wonderful things that God has created. As the scripture says,

Revelation 4:3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.

Revelation 10:1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

Also, Genesis 9 refers to a rainbow--though the word rainbow isn't actually used in the KJV--with God promising not to destroy the earth with a flood again. This by no means promises that God won't and didn't destroy people by other means as can be seen throughout the Bible.

Homers on the other hand have only used their God mocking rainbow flag since 1978 and have turned a wonderful creation of God into their own abomination.
Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell. Proverbs 23:13

        Run to the KJV1611!

          Re: Question about rainbows.

I often wonder why there are so many songs about rainbows, and what's on the other side.

After all, they're just an indication that God will never destroy the world again. With a flood, that is.

Typical of the perverted taking something God uses as a precious reminder to use for their own depraved ways.
