You've even managed to fail at failing at life? That's pretty impressive, albeit unmarketable.

Would you rob the Lord your God of the chance? Just give it a few more years and I'm sure He'll be more than happy to inflict unmentionably horrible things upon you

The demons are strong with this one! Every time you cut yourself, the terrorists win.

      Not true brother doctor.

The band Suicidal Tendencies had a song "suicidal failure", which was all about a person who failed at failing at life.

Here is a handy little guide that may help you in finding out if you did indeed blaspheme the Holy Ghost.

          I particularly like this part:

It is through the Holy Spirit that we receive this love for God.

Rom 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the holy spirit which is given unto us.

If we had committed the sin against the Holy Spirit, the Spirit would not be causing us to love God. We simply would not care. The fact that we love God is the very thing that causes so much anxiety at the possibility of being alienated from Him.
So take heed, any of you unsaved who like being goths or pagans or false christians, who haven't given GOD much thought lately, who simply don't care one way or another about God. It won't be a good thing for you in the end. Better to listen to the Godly pastors here while there is still time, before the unpardonable sin is committed in your hearts ...

... before it is too late for you, a concerned Sister Noddy
          1st Timothy 2: 9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
1st Timothy 2: 10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works ...

1 Timothy 5: 16 If any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed ...

Proverbs 31: 26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness ...
Proverbs 31: 27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness ...

Re: Please forgive me for my sins, Dear God.

Noddy - am I understanding this correctly? This article says that anxiety is evidence of their love for God? So its encouraging people to look at anxiety as proof of their piety?
This article says that mental illness, anxiety, is to be embraced as proof of devotion?
this is unbelievable. Surely I'm reading it wrongly?
The devil, whose business is to pervert the truth, mimics the exact circumstance of the Divine Sacraments. He baptises his believers and promises forgiveness of sins...he celebrates the oblation of bread, and brings in the symbol of the resurrection. Let us therefore acknowledge the craftiness of the devil, who copied certain things of those that be divine."

No, sorry if that came off the wrong way, Guy. I meant this part only ...

If we had committed the sin against the Holy Spirit, the Spirit would not be causing us to love God. We simply would not care.
A part of the article is about how people can tell if they have or have not committed blasphemy, those who worry that they may already have blasphemed the Holy Spirit, and are having anxiety about it. It says that if they still love God, then they haven't blasphemed, because they still care, and their anxiety is probably a sign that they are still okay.

In my post I was pointing out that some non-Christians who don't care about God one way or another may already have committed the blasphemy, and their lack of love for God --- and lack of any sort of remorse or anxiety about it --- would be a sign that they are lost.

That's how I understood (that part of) the article, anyway. Does this make sense, or have I managed to make it even more complicated?
