I have thought of suicide. I think of it a lot. I have tried to kill myself a lot of times.

You've even managed to fail at failing at life? That's pretty impressive, albeit unmarketable.

I am an ugly, stupid person and I deserve to die, but Jesus loves me and He does not want me to kill myself. Praise Jesus!

I have cut myself a lot,lbut not to kill myself, only to wound. That is sinful, too.

I particularly like this part:

If we had committed the sin against the Holy Spirit, the Spirit would not be causing us to love God. We simply would not care. The fact that we love God is the very thing that causes so much anxiety at the possibility of being alienated from Him.

So take heed, any of you unsaved who like being goths or pagans or false christians, who haven't given GOD much thought lately, who simply don't care one way or another about God. It won't be a good thing for you in the end. Better to listen to the Godly pastors here while there is still time, before the unpardonable sin is committed in your hearts ...

Noddy - am I understanding this correctly? This article says that anxiety is evidence of their love for God? So its encouraging people to look at anxiety as proof of their piety?
This article says that mental illness, anxiety, is to be embraced as proof of devotion?

No, sorry if that came off the wrong way, Guy. I meant this part only ...

A part of the article is about how people can tell if they have or have not committed blasphemy, those who worry that they may already have blasphemed the Holy Spirit, and are having anxiety about it. It says that if they still love God, then they haven't blasphemed, because they still care, and their anxiety is probably a sign that they are still okay.

In my post I was pointing out that some non-Christians who don't care about God one way or another may already have committed the blasphemy, and their lack of love for God --- and lack of any sort of remorse or anxiety about it --- would be a sign that they are lost.

That's how I understood (that part of) the article, anyway. Does this make sense, or have I managed to make it even more complicated?
