      Re: LBC

      Mr. IBelive [sic],

There is no need for you to forgive us, because as True Christians™ who follow the entire Bible - not just the feel-good reaffirming parts - we have already been Saved® and live our lives sin-free.

      Psalm 119:1-3
Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

      I John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

      John 8:11
She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

      II Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Now, if you had met me 7 years ago when I was effeminate and drifting toward the homosexual deathstyle due to my estrangement from the LORD, you could (and should) have rightly rebuked me. But now, I am a blood-bought child of the King, living by the Holy Word, and it is not possible for me to sin!

      Romans 8:33
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

      I John 3:6-9
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

It seems that you mistake our True Christian Love™ for hatred. Our words may seem harsh, but this is because bringing unsaved trash to Jesus is no laughing matter. If your house was burning down while you slept inside, would you rather me limp-wristedly tap your door saying "Excuse me, Mr. IBelive [sic]. I think it would be a good idea for you to come outside." Or would you rather me go to your bedroom window, bust it out with a hammer, and yell at you with a bullhorn - "WAKE UP IBELIVE [sic]!! YOU ARE GOING TO BURN IF YOU DON'T CHANGE WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!"

People like yourself don't like to see a True Christian™ coming, because you think we're all gloom and doom, and you don't like it when your sin and your distance from the LORD is illuminated. But the fact of the matter is that we are bringing you a message of pure love. We want you to join us in Heaven, IBelive [sic]!! We don't want you to follow a false Christ and believe in a false doctrine of your own imagination! We exhort you to live your life by every word God has given us in the KJV 1611, not just the parts that are easy to follow.

The reason you do not recognize our True Christian Love™ for what it is is because the devil yet stands between you and your Creator. You lack the discernment to recognize Jesus' elect when you meet us, and you presume to rebuke those who are already Saved® out of some sense of obligation deriving from your false doctrine.

Please study the Holy Bible, and live by it. When you are ready to be civil and accept the guidance of our Pastors and the fellowship of the Brothers and Sisters, we will be here. And we forgive you.

      YIC

      II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. Maybe you could move this thread over there, dearest one or just leave it as is? The false Christian and I are having such a nice talk.

I'll call you to set up a prayer meeting for this one's soul.

Of course I have read the Bible. the Old Tesemant was filled with Vengeful God. Please tell me what God said to Noha after he floded the world.

When Noah came out of the ark, one of the first things he did was build an altar on the mountain side.
He gave an offering to God.

When Noah looked up he saw a beautiful sight.
God had placed a rainbow of beautiful colors in the sky.
"I will never again send flood waters to cover the earth," God promised. "Whenever you look up and see a rainbow in the sky it will remind you of my promise."

years later when we broke our promis again Instead of sending a flood, God sent us his Son, Jesus Christ. The loving and forgiving God we first saw when he showed mercy on Noah’s family, is made flesh and came and lived among us. There was not a vengeful bone in this man’s body. He shone with God’s mercy to the point that he allowed himself to be crucified without cursing those who did it to him. Instead he cried on the cross, “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.” This truly was the Son of God. For us, Jesus shines brighter than the rainbow as a reminder of God’s faithfulness.

If you would like me to find the passages for you I can but you have read the bible so you know where it is.

And what was the second thing God did?

                Genesis 9:20-27
And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:
And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.
And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.
And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.
And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.
And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
Ham looked on his father's nakedness, so God bestowed an eternal curse on all his descendants.

Wow, that has to be the most cotton candy version I have ever heard in my life. There wasn't a vengeful bone in his body? Then why did he whip the money changers? You obviously did not click on the link I supplied. So I'll post some of the highlights here.

The Jesus I know, the Jesus I love, is uniformly kind, caring, sacrificial, wise, supernaturally powerful. Ive read the gospels regularly for over a year now and have found this Jesus reliably present. But now, for some reason, as I turn the crinkling, red-and-black inked pages in the lighting booth, a new, sterner Jesus suddenly and forcefully comes into view. A Jesus who is unhelpful. Intentionally confusing. Rude.

When Jesus saw the crowd around Him, He gave orders to cross to the other side of the lake. Then a teacher of the law came to Him and said, Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.” Jesus replied, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.” Another disciple said to Him, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.” But Jesus told him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead” (Matthew 8:18–22).

This is not the Jesus I know, not the Great Lover, the Provider of My Every Need. My Jesus is desperate to save souls. He is desirous of helping people receive His love. He is passionate for everybody, and He is so glad when we acknowledge that passion and dwell in it. He is happy when we are happy. But is the Jesus in these passages that same figure?

I am fine with Jesus being critical of His criticizers. He is hard on the Pharisees and Sadducees because they are legalists who want to control people. I cheer Jesus on as He chastises them and uses their own Scriptures against them. I even understand why he pledges to bring not peace but a sword to the earth. He says He has come to turn family members against one another, that households will be torn apart because of Him. I can appreciate this because I have seen it happen — friends who accept Jesus against their parents agnostic will, and such.

But Jesus harsh criticisms also reach into places I do not expect. After one parable, Jesus’ friend Peter asks for an explanation. “Are you still so dull?” Jesus snaps. Worse, Jesus appears to dishonor His own family. Once when someone tells Jesus that His mother and brothers are standing outside and waiting to see Him, Jesus replies, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” He suggests that His true family is “whoever does the will of my Father in heaven” (Matthew 12:46–50). I see His point, but does He have to ignore His mom? And how does this fit with my understanding of a God who wants everyone to be a part of a loving family, a God who focuses on the family and wants us to do the same?

Turning more crinkly pages, I read — as if for the first time — the story of Jesus calling a Canaanite woman a dog. She cries out to Him to deliver her daughter of demonic possession. Jesus did not answer a word,” says Matthew (15:23). The Great lover ignores her cries. The woman doesn’t let up, and finally, Jesus’ disciples beg Him to do something to shut her up. “Send her away,” they plead. “She keeps crying after us.” Jesus will have none of it. Why? Because the woman isn’t a Jew. “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.” Even when the woman forces her way to Jesus, kneels at His feet, and cries, “Lord, help me!” Jesus is unmoved. “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to their dogs,” He says.
No, not says. He mutters. He snipes. He sneers. I try to imagine the way He must have spoken to her. Could He have said it lovingly? Please oh God, show me how He must have said this lovingly. But I know He didnt.

It’s right there on the page, plain to see. I’ve read Matthew a hundred times and never noticed it, but tonight it is leaping from the page.
Fortunately, the Gentile dog is ready with a witty retort. Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.”
Jesus likes this. Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” Her daughter, adds Matthew, was healed that very hour.

He rewards her faith in spite of her ethnicity. Maybe it is all about faith, but this kind of faith, faith-as-token, faith-as-ticket, is not what I expected from my journey into faith, not what I expected from Jesus.
Theres more. Jesus doesn’t always appear to want people to understand His parables (Matthew 13). So far from trying desperately to help people understand that He is the Savior of their souls, Jesus obscures the truth. He predicts quick death and destruction for people who won’t believe the disciples’ preaching (Matthew 10). He cries out against the cities that don’t repent after He performs miracles (Matthew 11).

I can make sense of some of this. Of course Jesus is mad at people who dont repent after He heals diseases right before their eyes. Of course He becomes frustrated with the silly disciples who have to be told everything ten, twenty, fifty times before they get it. But still, on the basis of everything else I’ve learned about Jesus from CCM and Quiet Time devotionals, the gospels are nothing short of scandalous. Jesus storms through the pages of Matthew in a way I have never seen before, and I am frightened by it. My stomach clenches. I would cry if I were not so horrified. Why has this stuff not been explained to me? I am attending a Christian university. We should be talking about this!

But maybe the problem is that my biblical vision has been veiled.

We are not Jesus, the things that Jesus did through out his life where his to do. No where did I read in Matthew Do as I do Not as I say. I do remember this passage very well though as I stated before,,, it is the King James Version Now

                      It is writen...

                      Luke 6:27-37 (King James Version)

27But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
28Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
29And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also.
30Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.
31And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
32For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.
33And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
34And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.
35But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
36Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. 37Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.

I only Dislike some words that feel as they are hateful towards others of any race, religion etc... This is the veiw of many people that do not fully understand what you believe. Of course what you believe is different from what I have come to believe and Im sorry you can not change my mind, nor can I change yours. But I am open to hearing what other Christians believe and this is why I am here.

Oh so now we're NOT supposed to take Jesus as an example. Just how much white-out do you go through in a year?

So according to you, we're just supposed to stand idly by and let people go to hell? Do you think God is going to accept that as an answer when you stand before him? Read the entire Bible.

I noticed that you didn't even read the entire chapter....

22Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
23Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

26Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

38Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

(Personally I would like to be rebuked by a True Christian(TM) if I am wrong, it keeps me on the narrow path)

39And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?
40The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
42Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.
43For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
44For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.

46And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
47Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
48He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
49But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

Where is your house built, that you do not follow all of HIS words?

I only Dislike some words that feel as they are hateful towards others of any race, religion etc... This is the veiw of many people that do not fully understand what you believe. Of course what you believe is different from what I have come to believe and Im sorry you can not change my mind, nor can I change yours. But I am open to hearing what other Christians believe and this is why I am here.[/QUOTE]

No? Nothing from Matthew on that subject?

Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

I would like to go though each passage and explain what I have come to believe about each one if you will. Please feel free to explain your view to me. I will take your word on the passages being correct, I'm quite tired and do not feel like cross checking at this point.

blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
Blessed you are when people call you names, and call you evil.

23Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

rejoice when the day comes you are blessed

26Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

Be carefull not to get a big head when everyone tells you you are always right.

38Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
what ever you have given to others in life you will be given back the same.

39And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?
Jesus told a parable, the sinner can not lead the sinner.

40The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
                            No one is above Jesus.

Do not cast stones because you are not perfect yourself. Do not try to clear someone elses eyes if your eyes are cloudy.

43For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
A truely good person does not bring forth evil nor does an evil person bring forth good.

44For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.

God knows what is in your heart..

46And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
                            pretty self expanitory

47Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
god willh put you with those that hear his sayings and do as he says.

48He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
Jesus built his house upon a rock that can not be shaken or destroyed. (not literally)

49But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

he that does not do what Jesus says is doomed.

I believe he was talking about the previous passages that I posted before that came before these words.
A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the fool's back.

You show your ignorance of the Word with every post you make.

2 Peter 1:20-21 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

this will be the last post i will make on the subject, Im not here to Inflame you as I said im only here to learn. I can see this as a touchy subject for you.

taken from your last post. 2 Peter 1:20-21 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

This passage is the word of God not to be interprited in a different way then what it says correct?

Why do you not follow Gods words in this scripture?

36Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. 37Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.

Is this not the words of god as well as what you speak? Is there anything that I have taken from the King James bible not the word of God?

In anycase I am sorry If I offended anyone I will not bother you again with this. I do love you all as Gods children and I do not judge, its not my place to judge anyone for that is Gods alone to do.

                                Thank you for your time.
