I was just about to answer Father Martin's post myself, so I will say this ...

Friendship no longer applies, it's that the old noddy has been swept away, and the new True Christian™ Sister Noddy changed completely and utterly ...

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

So I have been made brand new in His Light, and all of my old life has passed away, including my false-church ministry, my old false thoughts and beliefs, and old friends too ...

Therefore, what? How do you get from that verse to the notion that Jesus established an unbroken chain of boy-touching fish-heads, from Peter to the present-day Unholy Father? Also, how do you get the idea that they have the ultimate teaching authority, even when Peter himself didn't, as shown by the following verse from Galatians?

Galatians 2:11: But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.
