How, I say, how did I overlook the Christian birthday of one as obviously Blessed by the Lord as Landover's own Dear Captain Portway?
It was three days' ago, on June the 1st

Thank you Sister Sue. And don't worry, I'm used to people forgetting my birthday. Only one of my estranged unsaved kids called, and I'm pretty sure it was an accident that she called on my birthday, since all she did was ask for money.
But I do praise Jesus that he saw fit to let me live another year. I hope this isn't the last one, unless it's time for the Rapture.

I am sorry Pastor, but as you know, all of the pilots at LAJ had their corporate credit cards cancelled as a cost cutting measure. Is there anyway I can be reimbursed anytime soon? I know that it's company policy to only settle petty cash payouts twice a year, but things are a little tight right now. I should be OK for this week though, because in two more days I'll be eligible to sell my plasma again.
